@MacRobinson95 It’s not hard to see cmb’s right arm come in first and punch the ball out before there is any other contact. Maybe put some blame on your 200 million dollar poodle who’s was holding the ball like a new born

@MZavagno11 The fact that mobley held the ball like an egg he was afraid would break if he squeezed too tight is nonsensical

@SivsPicks @MarqsJO This is literally right as he pops the ball. If mobley wasn’t charmin soft, he gets two shots and it’s series over. Actually, he probably missed both…

@Mike_Leach1976 Why are people lining up at food banks? It’s almost like money printing causes inflation which impacts low income Canadians more than anyone else …

Getting a little sick and tired of people holding water for large corps being asked to pay their fair share while average hard working folks line up at food banks. NDP can comeback if Avi keeps hammering the Mamdani message. The other parties have no better answers. #Cdnpoli

CTV: What if [a windfall profits tax on big oil] deflates them? Avi Lewis: Tell the family where 1 in 4 Canadians is skipping a meal .. to feed their kids, that an industry making $90B in profits this year can’t afford to pay a little bit more. I’m sorry I just don’t accept it.

Why don’t you go max and show the full context of that conversation entirely and not just a screen grab. It was an OBVIOUS joke mocking the absurd neocon notion (at that time) that any body who had a single question toward Erika was guilty of accusing her of murder. Insert the full context and the specific person I was mocking in that thread for sharing that sentiment—and for once, stop lying.

@DPoc16 @Rachel__Nichols The fact that you don’t understand the problem isn’t bad teams who genuinely need talent, it’s the talented teams throwing games to try and add more is insane.

@Rachel__Nichols The fact you don’t see a positive to making sure professional athletes actually compete for their full season is insane - this goes for all sports by the way - tell me the bottom 5 NFL teams wouldn’t play harder if they weren’t guaranteed a draft position as a team

Dental plan, disability benefit increase, $10 a day childcare, pharmacare, more tax benefits, more taxes back, easier and free tax filings, 10 cents less on gas today, no industrial carbon tax, national food program, food rebates, etc. Those are just a few things Canadians got under a liberal government.

@thevivafrei AI would technically make things cost less. so you wouldn't need to be a millionaire if things cost 95% less than what they do now.

I don’t understand this argument. What good does “universal high income” do when all that would happen is massive inflation for the cost of goods? Awesome, now everyone’s a millionaire. And a computer now costs $20,000 because every retailer knows that everyone’s a millionaire.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

I’m going to have to respectfully disagree with both Carney and Nenshi. Cutting fuel taxes is basically a subsidy for big oil companies who are currently reaping huge unearned profits on the backs of consumers. The better solution would be a windfall profits tax.

They scam us on bread. They scam us on milk. They scam us on meat. Everyone criticizes Avi Lewis for wanting public owned grocery stores, yet he's the only politician who cares that none of us can afford food!

We have a choice about the kind of future we build in our province. We can move forward with affordable power, a growing economy and real opportunities, or we can fall back into higher costs, more risk, and uncertainty for families and businesses. Our Grid & Growth Plan sets out a practical, evidence-based path to build the power system Saskatchewan needs while reining in punishing price hikes for families, seniors, farms and businesses. Read our full plan and provide your feedback: GridandGrowth.ca

🚨 UNREAL The Globe and Mail published a cost of living story today. Here’s who they profiled as the victim: A retired Calgary BANKER who has a SECOND HOME in Puerto Vallarta and takes ANNUAL TRIPS to France and Italy is now only going to Europe for 3 weeks this year instead of 6. He’s booking flights earlier to save money. THAT is the Globe’s definition of financial struggle. This is the same boomer demographic that: Bought homes for $80,000. Watched them hit $1.2 million. Voted Liberal & watched as deficits and taxes rose. Told their kids to work harder. But the average Canadian under 35: No home. No pension. No retirement savings. Renting a basement at 32. But let’s all hold hands and pray for the retired banker’s shorter vacation.
