Dental plan, disability benefit increase, $10 a day childcare, pharmacare, more tax benefits, more taxes back, easier and free tax filings, 10 cents less on gas today, no industrial carbon tax, national food program, food rebates, etc.

I’m going to have to respectfully disagree with both Carney and Nenshi. Cutting fuel taxes is basically a subsidy for big oil companies who are currently reaping huge unearned profits on the backs of consumers. The better solution would be a windfall profits tax.

He’s booking flights earlier to save money.
THAT is the Globe’s definition of financial struggle.
This is the same boomer demographic that:
Bought homes for $80,000.
Watched them hit $1.2 million.
Voted Liberal & watched as deficits and taxes rose.
Told their kids to work harder.
But the average Canadian under 35:
No home.
No pension.
No retirement savings.
Renting a basement at 32.
