Woollies were giving away seeds recently, so I planted an assorted bunch in some big tubs, without labeling what I'd planted. Took a while to realise the "chives" were actually Onion Weed. and that the baby salad leaves were Snap Dragon plants

Definitely works. Even managed to wipe out some stubborn Dwarf Papyrus, which is as hard as bamboo to kill off. Nan also used to pour salt on snails, but don't try that- mounds of disgusting snail foam :(

Rained so hard it washed straight off the hard-baked soil, to end up settling in the gaps between my new pavers. Putting the kettle on for coffee means pouring the excess on the intruder grass as a form of revenge.

It rained 3 weeks ago, and more on the weekend. I'm amazed at how quickly a layer of green's appeared. Actually had to mow today, which is the 1st time since last Autumn. Amazing stuff, Nature
