@kdot1022 @JeremyNicolls Think this one went over your head a little bit chief Point is the Wolves were much, much more injured than the Nuggets and the talent level of the injured players for each team wasn’t even close Wolves were taking belt to ass against Den regardless like they always do 🤣

@BBuzick021 @JeremyNicolls No one said the Wolves were lucky they beat us fair and square without Ant and Divencenzo they had more grit and wanted it more kudos to them that bench is probably one of the best in the league but this nuggets team fully healthy still think could’ve won the series

It’s a tough pill to swallow when you realize your favorite team was a fraud the entire season. Brutal, but true.

Serious question: Is Jaden McDaniels a Top Five Timberwolves player of all-time? 1. Kevin Garnett 2. Anthony Edwards 3. Karl-Anthony Towns 4. Rudy Gobert 5. Jaden McDaniels

@kdot1022 @JeremyNicolls I agree. Wolves are lucky the Nuggets had two absolute stars out while they were just missing a bench piece or two. Nuggets totally would have won if they were healthy. I’ve never ever ever seen a team so injured like Den was! Wolves TOTALLY had luck on their side!! 🙄🤦‍♂️🤣

@notthefakeSVP So nice for the state of Minnesota to have some national accolades for a night, rather than the typical talk of how absolutely embarrassing we are for our political “leaders,” on a daily basis. 🤣

Jaden McDaniels talked it and walked it and the only time he smiled was when Jokic grabbed him at the end of game 4.

Nolan McLean took a perfect game into the sixth inning tonight, but Matt Wallner broke it up with a clean single and Byron Buxton followed with a two-out, two-run homer. For these Mets, nothing comes easy.

@MStoddard_LGM Disagree on nimmo. Semien has been a breath of fresh air at second base. The team is so bad nobody realizes how good he has been defensively. He wasn’t supposed to come here and hit.

The Mets own the 2nd highest payroll in baseball. For the last 2 years, they - by far - have the widest gap of payroll VS how good the team actually is. Stupid moves by Stearns that have contributed to dead money on high risk and players that don’t fit: 1. Signing Franky Montas; now eating $17 mil for the guy not to exist 2. Overpaying Sean Manaea; now paying $25 mil for him to be a long reliever 3. Eating $6 mil to get rid of McNiel 4. Trading Nimmo for Semien; ate $5 mil in trade - and… 5. Now paying $26 mil for Semien to not hit and take up space for the next 3 yrs. Wouldn’t it been smarter to keep Nimmo and his extra 2 yrs at $20 and just buy them out if he ended up sucking? Eating $40 mill 3 yrs from now, is a lot better than keeping Semien for the next 3 yrs at $26 mil per. Semien has not been a better player than Nimmo that last 2 yrs and he’s not a serviceable starter now - imagine in 2 yrs. How much of that contract are they going to eat? 6. Paying $20 mil per for the next 2 yrs for Polanco; who doesn’t have sustained productivity or health in his career. 7. Singing Luis Garcia; just DFA’d him after 6 appearances! Eating $1.75 mil this year. Please tell me how (given all these moves) there are fans that say Stearns is a SMART BUSINESS MAN? Tell me how he was smart to not consider so many good players just because he refused to offer longterm contracts - especially to a player like Pete, who he knew could play in NY? Yet, these same fans give no criticism for the $100 mil Stearns has dropped in the dead money I outlined above? That’s over 25% of the payroll that he’s wasted THIS YEAR that could’ve been used on better players. Defenders of Stearns are in extreme denial.

She didn’t just serve tables… she studied people. Smiles, eye contact, hesitation, she learned exactly when someone was about to spend more… or tip less. And, according to her, that’s where the “morally questionable” tactics came in. She’d casually start listing the most expensive options first, letting customers get overwhelmed until they just said “yeah, that one.” Bigger bill… bigger tip. It worked more often than it should. But that wasn’t even the part that made people uncomfortable. When a table left a small tip, she’d switch instantly, soft voice, concerned expression, even crouching down beside them. “Was there something wrong with my service?” she’d ask, holding the receipt just enough for them to see. Awkward silence. Guilt creeping in. And just like that… wallets opened again. But her most shocking moment? After forgetting a table for nearly 45 minutes, she came back with an apology and a story about performing CPR on someone outside. The mood flipped instantly… and they left her a huge tip. Now the internet is split, some calling it genius, others calling it straight manipulation. This says a lot about how easily emotions; guilt, pressure, and sympathy can be turned into money. Question: If you found out your server used tactics like this on you… would you feel played, or would you respect the hustle?
Dr. CZ@AngelMD1103

She paid for convenience… but got frustration instead. Every single week, like clockwork, the same name popped up on her delivery app, Amber. Same shopper. Same driver. And somehow… the same problem. Missing items. Every. Time. At first, she brushed it off. Mistakes happen. But when it became a pattern, it stopped feeling like an accident and started feeling personal. Then came the message that pushed her over the edge: “Canned Pepsi is unavailable.” That was it. That was the moment something didn’t sit right. Because this wasn’t the first time. So instead of accepting it, she did something unexpected, she got in her car and drove straight to the store herself. Heart pounding, phone in hand, ready to prove what she already suspected. She walked through those doors… turned into the beverage aisle… …and froze. Shelves. Fully stocked. Rows and rows of canned Pepsi staring right back at her. Not low. Not hidden. Not sold out. Plenty. At that moment, it wasn’t about soda anymore. It was about trust. She took photos. Filed a complaint. Spoke to management. Because, how many other people were being told the same thing? How many orders were being quietly shorted while customers paid full price? This is exactly why people are starting to question these delivery services… it only takes one bad experience repeated too many times. If this happened to you, would you have let it go… or would you have gone to the store to catch the truth yourself?

I’m engaged, and my fiancé recently found out I own a small apartment that my parents helped me buy years ago. It’s in my name, fully paid off. I’ve always seen it as my safety net. Now he’s asking me to sell it after we get married so we can “invest together” and put everything into a house under both our names. He says keeping it means I’m planning for a future without him. But I don’t see it that way. I see it as something I built before him, something that protects me no matter what happens. And now I feel guilty for wanting to keep it.

Friend of mine is 35 years old, married and doesn’t want kids. His household income is roughly $300k/yearly and his house is nearly paid off. They invest a good portion of their income for retirement, take multiple yearly vacations and live a nice life. I think people like this are going to regret not having kids in their future. One day when he’s old all he will have to look back on is the random stuff he bought and wasted money on. Instead of putting that money towards having kids and building a family he’s choosing consumerism. This just seems so wasteful and boring to me.
