In my experience, we are also losing experienced teachers at unprecedented rates too. I'm seeing STEM teachers leaving in their droves across the NW. It isn't sustainable.

Just chatting to my sister, who is also a science teacher. 4 science teachers out of her department of 8 are leaving the profession before next Easter. Young teachers on mainscale. Not sure how we counteract this exodus? @ASCL_UK
