@Damian_Cullen For me last visit Pros: Bouillabaisse Marseillaise, pastis, sea views and great double decker TGV service to Paris. Cons: Along with rats was the smell, some not so friendly locals/police and sad site of drug taking at Fort St.Jean

My comprehensive review of Marseille after last weekend . . . Pros: Beautiful city, great food, friendly locals, amazing beaches & sea views. Cons: I saw more rats in one weekend than the rest of my life put together.
