Going to cancel my @VirginMediaIE broadband account as they are not rewarding loyal customers my bill went from 37.50€ to 75€ but new customers get it for 35€ per month for 12 months. What a way to treat a customer of 12 years

@r3trogam3boy @VirginMediaIE Yeah. Same here. Was being charged 80 a month for 500mb. Spoke to them and they wouldn’t do anything. Left for @Digiweb_Ireland for 1000mb and 30 a month as a new customer. Really shitty way these places treat long standing customer - over 20 years.

Switched from @puretelecomirl to @Digiweb_Ireland gigabit and not impressed. PPPoE dropped for 5 mins today and speeds rarely exceed 750Mbps, well below what I’m paying for. Pure Telecom stayed near 900Mbps except for peak dips. That €35/mo gigabit deal won’t hit full speeds.

Can anyone recommend a decent internet service in Ireland. My son in Sardinia gets both internet and mobile via Vodafone Italy for €25 for 1 gig. I pay €55 looters fee for lo-speed, 12-13 mpbs internet alone -and another €45 for 3 mobile. Anyone help ? @EIR seems even worse.

@Digiweb_Ireland signed up for 2gb broadband, still only getting the 1gb, speed from siro box to the modem is only putting through 1gb, tried multiple cables, cat5e, cat6, cat 7 and none have worked, might have to cancel and do virgin for 24 months at 45€ instead of €60 for 12.
