A little nugget on the BC men’s basketball coaching search this morning: Still should be done by the end of the weekend, if not sooner. A couple candidates are already considered “out,” although I’m not sure they’ve been informed yet. I still believe Jay Larranaga is the favorite & will get the job. @BCEagleAction

@BCdee97 @kstone06 It is a big reason why the “tradition” has been LOST. There a A LOT of frustrated former players. The Administration’s turnover of ADs and poor selection of Head Coaches over the past 10-15yrs has buried the program. The CULTURE needs to change but that seems low on the list.

I really want whatever hire to work out, but I hate that an outgoing President is getting to make another big decision. In addition, whatever coaches we hire, seem to produce the same results…for most of our Programs. At this point, I cannot fault the coaches…follow the pattern. I fault the University. 😔 (This is all my own opinion…I want nothing more than for BC to succeed in Athletics!! Believe me…🦅❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻)

I know I am probably in the minority on this but if we can't get Gallo, I want Jay Larranaga. We have missed on the last three midmajor guys. Let's try something new. A guy who knows BC. A guy who knows our AD. A guy who has spent a lot of time on D league talent evaluations.
