BREAKING: Louisville has landed one of the best big man available in Obinna Ekezie Jr., and he intends to reclassify and play for the Cardinals this season. 

The 7-1 Ekezie was the No. 2 ranked player in the country in the Class of 2027, per On3. 

He’s a skilled big man who can step out and can play alongside Kansas transfer Flory Bidunga at times. 

Pat Kelsey has now assembled a team that should be ranked among the top teams in the country heading into the season. 

He added Bidunga and Okezie with Iowa transfer Alvaro Folgueiras (Iowa) and Karter Knox (Arkansas). Adrian Wooley will return and the Cardinals also add guards Jackson Shelstad (Oregon) and De’Shayne Montgomery (Dayton).

In the 4A State Title game, Crown Point held the ball for a minute plus…. With 5 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter. No movement… as deafening boos came down from this Gainbridge Fieldhouse crowd. Indiana needs a shot clock and it needs it now.

Louisville’s Mikel Brown Jr was awesome in limited minutes during his season opener Brown will be credited for his elite shooting but he’s very explosive, was the one thing I wanted to see more off from Mikel, attacking the rim with urgency and that was showcased, unbelievable speed in transition. 11 points and 6 assists in 18 minutes Fun performance

Khani Rooths is 6-10 moving like this 😳. The Louisville sophomore looks like he is in store for a breakout second season. Finished with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists in a win over SC State.
