I have an 8 hour road trip coming up.
Tesla FSD will be full engaged.
Need a good show recommendation.
My favorite shows are stranger things, GOT (up to season 7), Ted Lasso.
I’m partial to drugs, money, and British accents aka Guy Ritchie.
After over 46K posts here, i want to say i will end this journey here on Twiiter/X as i have no use for this site no longer. It's been interesting for sure.
Stay well, stay safe. Life is short.

Heavy bands of snow move in after 4:00 🕓 pm. The snow may fall at rates of an inch per hour. Road conditions will deteriorate fast, so do be careful if you must venture out this evening.

@YongSooChung@noahkagan Do you use @ChaseSupport Ink Business Premier? 2.5% cash back on purchases over $5K. Currently have Cap1 Spark for 2% on 1.5MM in expenses, but Chase doesn’t offer unlimited credit, so it’s not useful. Any insight? @Chase ?
@noahkagan I use Cap One Spark for unlimited 2% and I use a rotation of Bank of America cards that give me close to 3% unlimited.
Some category credit cards give me close to 6% but those are capped at $50k per year! 😅
How’s the book coming along?!
I live in the most expensive city in America...
With a $0 salary, I:
• Own a home
• Drive a Tesla M3
• Work anytime, anywhere
... while living in San Francisco.
How did I pull this off?
A simple credit card hack.
Let's dive in...
My Personal Holding Company generates over $5 million of expenses each year.
95% of those expenses go through my credit cards.
Which pays me back between 2% - 5% in cold hard cash.
The IRS treats credit card cash back as a rebate, not taxable income.
At 2.5% cash back on average, that's $118,750 per year... tax-free.
This pays for my mortgage, groceries, and living expenses.
Nearly all my travel is a tax-deductible business expense.
How?
I own a dog boutique called Spotted By Humphrey.
We take our Frenchies everywhere to take photos for our shop, visit other retailers, host Frenchie meet-ups, and meet with customers and their pups.
That's the beauty of designing your own Personal HoldCo.
Turn your hobbies into businesses.
Make your entire life tax-deductible.
And guess what?
My Personal HoldCo owns my Tesla.
And yes, I depreciate my Tesla against my income.
It's just not fair.
I can't begin to tell you how rigged this game is against salaried employees.
Owning a Personal Hold Co has been my biggest cheat code.

P.S. I love my life. ✌🏼
@audsnyder4@griffinjawn@ziggakai How about restaurants. Was always an American Ale house loyalist, but haven’t been impressed last few times. Have heard updated Tavern is very good. @NateBauerBWI ?
@griffinjawn@ziggakai 1) Antifragile Brewing (downtown) Best beer in town
2) Voodoo (great outdoor setup)
3) Axemann (in Bellefonte in a massive building so a good choice if and when everything else is crowded)
Trades are slowing down right now.
If someone says they are “swamped or so busy” they are either:
1) low capacity
2) don’t know how to forecast work (reactive)
3) in denial/ unaware
Bottom line - trades are slowing down
@jude0007@NeilThanedar@amagijosh If using SBA 504 for new construction, I believe you have to occupy 80% within a year or two after construction. Not certain on exact timeframe, but it’s not the 51/49 split of existing building
@BDZ_4@arestaurant_guy@Square Because lower rates is not the only thing to consider. I’ve used the reports and UI on toast and it’s horrible. Square is the apple of payment processors, and you might pay $2000 more in fees on a million in sales in a year, but the ecosystem is soooo much better.
@kevinkrease@GoodsCapital I don’t see getting one for MSRP any time soon. Just got Yukon after looking for ~2 months. Many 6-8 weeks out from delivery to lot are already sold.
@GoodsCapital For real though, you're buying new in this economy, and you're really going to buy whatever is on the lot. The inflation won't be too bad on new cars though. I bet you'll find one for msrp.
