Did an 8 hour ride, only intervention was helping it find the charger to park at. It handled every bit of driving. I won’t let anyone I know buy any other car but a Tesla. Also finished season 1 of Task! Great show.

Central Florida gets a bad rap, but the data and reality says otherwise. You could make a serious argument that Orlando is one of the best places in America to live right now. The Orlando metro was the fastest-growing large metro in the country last year, adding roughly 76,000 new residents in a single year with 2.7% population growth. And people aren’t moving to “Orlando.” They’re moving to incredible places like Horizon West, Winter Park, and Lake Nona. Horizon West exploded from ~14,000 residents in 2010 to nearly 75,000 in 2025 and has become one of the fastest-growing master planned communities in the country. Lake Nona has transformed into a legitimate innovation and health-tech hub with Medical City, UCF’s medical campus, biotech investment, autonomous transit programs, and one of the most ambitious mixed-use developments in the country. Winter Park gives you a completely different vibe, walkable streets, lakes, great restaurants, Rollins College, old Florida charm, and household incomes north of $130k for families. People talk about the heat, but the reality is Orlando has 8-9 months a year with incredible weather while much of the country is dealing with snow, gray skies, or brutal winters. And then there’s lifestyle. You get lake living almost year round. World-class golf. Boating. Restaurants. Professional sports. And the #1 tourist corridor on earth sitting 20 minutes away whenever you actually want it. Disney, Universal, concerts, conventions, Michelin-level dining, events, all accessible without needing to live in the middle of it. The business ecosystem is also way more developed than outsiders realize. Deloitte, Lockheed Martin, EA Sports, Siemens, KPMG, Disney, and a growing tech + healthcare ecosystem all have major operations here. Orlando’s GDP is approaching $200B. And MCO has quietly become one of the best airports in the country. When I lived in Dallas and Denver, out-of-town visitors came every few months. In Orlando, it’s basically every week. People underestimate Central Florida because they associate it with tourism. Meanwhile, a lot of us are over here wondering why more people haven’t figured it out yet. Cc: @kenpozek

This is the worst thing I’ve ever seen a major brand do. This is a $600,000 - $700,000 car from Ferrari. Ferrari execs said “yeah, that’ll sell”. WTF Jonny Ive?! If this was the Apple car, I’d say alright yeah that fits. This is absolutely trash though.

🚨 WATCH: A paraglider gets hit by a Cessna 172 near the Austrian town of Zell am See. The paraglider was able to pull her rescue parachute and land safely shortly after the incident on Saturday. According to police, the 44-year-old Austrian had started from Schmittenhöhe in the direction of Piesendorf. Above the Pinzgauer Hütte, she collided at 1:15 p.m. with the Cessna piloted by a 28-year-old. The pilot of the Cessna, which flew from the Glemm Valley in the direction of Zell am See, was able to land the aircraft safely at Zell am See Airport. Video: sab_thi

There's an UNBELIEVABLE use case for regional trips in the US that will decimate air travel and buses. Fully autonomous Tesla Robovans outfitted as long-haul first-class "buses". These would run routes similar to Amtrak or Greyhounds, but with First-Class-like comfort, amenities, and space. The price per seat of these can be the same as a bus, but FAR more comfortable and FAR more luxurious. Can obviously optimize the interior for the best configuration but MAN. This would absolutely KILL.

No one wants to admit to but the world runs through X. We’ve built one of the country’s fastest growing law firms on the back on this app, brick by brick, and we’ve never had more engagement, traffic and fun since @nikitabier took over. Ten years from now, the brands built on X will be some of the most recognizable in the world. I’m 100% confident @smblawgroup will be one of the most recognized law firm brands on the planet thanks to X. More than though, we’re on the cutting edge of tech implementation, consumer trends and relationship building thanks to this app. If you’re building a brand and you’re not active on X, you’re missing out.

Small business ownership today. Find out one of our new hires (a 30 year old man) can’t count. Literally. We learn this after asking him to put together a few pallets of orders for GM and Ford this morning and nothing makes sense. Other new hire who was supposed to show up yesterday doesn’t, but shows up today and says this will be a temporary gig so he can make enough money to pay his daughter’s fall tuition for college. He never mentioned this during the interview. An existing employee leaves mid day without explanation. Customer complains about some film being too firm (huh?). Another customer calls asking for an update for an existing order from January only to realize he never sent me the order and the customer needs it in 2 weeks. Now it’s a rush order when I have a 5 week backlog. Good luck to him. Accounts receivables balance ballooning as customers paying later and later as macro worsening. Film vendor complains if business doesn’t pick up he’s going to fire more pple after big layoffs last year. For the first time in the company’s 50 year history he worries he might need to shut it down. We are behind on so many orders I tell the team we have to work this weekend. All except one agree to come in at 5am tomorrow. I’ll have to leave around 6-7am to drive to Princeton tomorrow to meet up with @OneManLBO for breakfast while he’s on the east coast for Princeton reunions. Hope the team can shut down tomorrow without creating any fire hazards (last time they left machines and hot irons on all weekend in a factory filled with cardboard and paper). I’ll be back to start up at 5am on Sunday. The team and I will have to work Sunday and Monday as well to ship orders first thing next week including a massive order for a pharma company in Australia. Talk to another manufacturing biz owner on my drive home from the factory who tells me how one of his big customers went bankrupt last year which reminds me never to complain about being busy. It’s almost 8pm est on a Friday night and just finished dinner w the wife and daughter knowing I’m up at 3am tomorrow to drive to the factory to start up the equipment, make sure the team knows what has to ship early next week and that I have an hour drive to Princeton at 6-7am tomorrow. I’ve never felt like my current path is less scalable 😂 but always grateful to have orders.

Everyone wants to be a developer until…. Town supervisors approved land development plan on Tuesday. Thursday, County Planning seals plans. Go across town to the County Annex and get a PIN Cert. Go downstairs and record plans, get proof of recording. Friday, go to atty to record a new deed because of subdivision is combining 2 lots. Tuesday, record stormwater plan at the County Annex. Schedule pre-development meeting with the Conservation District.

I have an 8 hour road trip coming up. Tesla FSD will be full engaged. Need a good show recommendation. My favorite shows are stranger things, GOT (up to season 7), Ted Lasso. I’m partial to drugs, money, and British accents aka Guy Ritchie.

If you want to be fit and muscular you need to eat plenty of protein. The simplest rule of thumb to help you do that is learning the 10/100 rule. Learn what food items have 10g or more of protein for every 100 calories, and make your meals revolve around those core items so that your meals end up in the ballpark of 10/100 ratio (example a 500 calorie meal with 50 grams of protein). The more strict you're restricting calories while dieting, the more you'll have to pay attention to this if you want to have a chance at hitting the protein your muscles needs while not going overboard on calories which makes you hold on to fat you're trying to lose. Build meals and snacks around these items and you can accomplish what seems impossible to people that don't know the 10/100 rule. You can be full and satisfied with plenty of protein in you, while not going overboard on calories. Bonus: Many of these items are also extremely affordable. Pair this stuff with vegetables, rice, potatoes, and fruit as calories allow and you can eat really well for a good price while hitting your nutritional and fitness goals. Avoid excess oils and sugar and you'll get your diet dialed on easy mode.
