@rhalber is a dedicated leader and man of integrity @ChrisVanHollen's personal attack on Ron's integrity was undignified, unwarranted and untrue. The entire Executive Committee of @JCRCgw stands with Ron. More here: jcouncil.org/statements/jcr….

BREAKING: Utah has landed PG @NoamYaacov, one of the top European prospects this cycle. With his commitment, he will also go through the NBA Draft process.
Yaacov averaged 17.9 points & 5.7 assists, while converting 40.8% from deep in the BNXT League this season.
Indiana, Villanova, Washington, and others pushed for him this last week but the Utes emerge in the end as the landing spot.

The Michigan Democratic Party just endorsed a candidate for the University of Michigan Board of Regents who:
Called Jews “demons” who “lie, cheat, murder and blackmail.”
Shared an ISIS-origin slur about Jews.
Amplified calls to ban Jews from Congress.
Praised Hezbollah figures as “martyrs.”
Boosted Qasem Soleimani.
Then quietly deleted it all.
(Unsurprisingly, he is also supported by Rashida Tlaib.)
The Democratic party is fundamentally broken.

English

@sanchezcastejon Are you leaving NATO also? Lebanon and Iran attacked Israel. They fired hundreds (or thousands) of missiles and drones against a civilian population. But that’s okay I suppose. It’s only the other direction that’s a problem.
English

@RoKhanna @Emolclause Because Israel is the only country whose leader has attempted to influence US foreign policy. (Not.) Your selective criticism is telling.
English

No taxpayer $$ to Israel.
No Israeli PM in Situation Room.
End occupation.
I am Team America. Trump is obsessed with war in the Middle East.
It's time for a new generation for a new moral direction for Democrats.
This Week@ThisWeekABC
Following the Senate Democratic vote to halt military equipment sales to Israel, Rep. Ro Khanna addressed the party’s position: “We're a party that believes in two states in peace. But let me tell you what we're not for. We're not for aid to Israel. They've got a $45 billion defense budget. Why are we giving them money?” abcnews.com/Politics
English

@EdKrassen @RoKhanna Because no other foreign leader has ever attempted to influence US policy. Why are you not calling out Qatar (which induced Trump to force Israel into a change of policy) or Saudi?
English

Congressman @RoKhanna:
“Let me tell you what a Democratic president is never going to do. An Israeli Prime Minister is not going to be sitting in the situation room telling an American president what to do. Only Americans will be in that situation room.”
English

@ChrisVanHollen So what would you have Israel do? Hezbollah, unprovoked, has killed israeli civilians and forced tens of thousands of evacuations. Just grin and bear it? No nation can tolerate that situation.
English

@JasonJournoDC lol he doesn’t have a nazi tattoo, what utter bullshit. All they can do is lie because they know they don’t have any real defense for the atrocities they’re committing.
English

@sidsabad @MouinRabbani Eloquent thanks. I am actually not Israeli, although I am Jewish. Which is what I think you meant but were afraid to say. And I hazard to guess I contribute far more to America than you since you, in fact, aren’t even American.
English

@BDayanim @MouinRabbani Yes, an Israeli Flunkie leeching of America. You heard me Zionist pig!
English

The Israel lobby in the US openly boasts about its power to make and break political careers.
The Israel lobby in the US openly boasts about its ability to pass and block Congressional legislation.
The Israel lobby in the US openly boasts about its power to make or break professional careers in academia, the media, and other employment sectors.
The Israel lobby in the US openly boasts about its influence on US foreign policy.
In foreign capitals, the Israel lobby openly boasts that it holds the key to improved relations with Washington.
Whatever one thinks of the Israel lobby's numerous boasts, there can be no denying their existence.
Yet according to this Israel flunkie, to accept or repeat what the Israel lobby says about itself is to participate in an anti-Semitic trope.
Because there is no living organism or inanimate object that is not anti-Semitic.

English

@BDayanim @MouinRabbani I'll give you the benefit of doubt & assume you've really never heard of AIPAC
But since we've remedied that now:
I'm sure you'll be just as appalled as most people (prbly even more, given this is done in your name)

English

@sidsabad @MouinRabbani I’m an American, which, based on your profile, is more than I can say for you.
English

@BDayanim @MouinRabbani You are the Israeli flunki he is talking about. Go figure.
English

@MouinRabbani And what about the actual billions in dollars that Qatar and Saudi pump into this country’s think tanks, universities and other institutions? You’d think that would concern you more than the voices and dollars of American citizens.
English

@MouinRabbani What the heck is the “Israel lobby?” Say what you mean. I’m a proud Jewish American and support the longstanding US-israel relationship. am I part of some powerful cabal, or just an engaged citizen?
English

On Sunday, Defense Minister Katz said Israel would use the "Rafah" model in Lebanon.
Earlier this month, the Trump Admin rushed a sale of over 20,000 bombs to the Netanyahu gov.
Today, I asked the official who signed off on the transfer if it complies with US policy & intl law. He wouldn't answer.
English

@EdKrassen You left out the antisemitic implication that Israel’s “powerful lobby” is somehow behind the war.
English

BREAKING: The Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, Joseph Kent, just resigned and his letter is devastating.
He says Trump was “deceived” into war with Iran, pushed by misinformation and outside pressure, abandoning his own America First principles.
And he says Iran never posed any imminent threat to America.
Read the entire letter below.

English

@BernieSanders You don’t agree on much other than your mutual attraction to antisemitic tropes. Thanks for the clarification.

A friend in Israel is my age with a young family. They are in a bomb shelter with an infant & children right now. He tells me — ‘morale is high; we’re exhausted & worse but in it to win it. And we feel fellowship profoundly with the Americans; we are part of something bigger than us.’
It’s a fellowship of free people, and one that I hope Iranians themselves may join after decades of brutal repression.
English

@ChrisVanHollen Your obsession with Netanyahu is bordering on pathological; many people of good conscience can disagree on whether this conflict is right or not, but blaming Israel for US policy decisions is disgraceful. You clearly weren’t paying attention to Rabbi Jacobs’ remarks at Jstreet
English

Netanyahu got what he wanted but what about the American people?
What about the servicemembers who died? What about the nearly 200 schoolchildren killed?
There's a reason why past presidents didn’t go to war with Iran: they refused to risk American lives to open Pandora’s Box.
John Hudson@John_Hudson
Netanyahu says Trump fulfilled his dreams: In bombing Iran, Israel now has the "assistance of the United States, my friend, US President Donald Trump, and the US military. This coalition of forces allows us to do what I have yearned to do for 40 years"
