I want my daughter to grow up in a Britain where she feels safe in school, online, and in relationships. Every young girl deserves that, and every young boy should be protected from harmful misogynistic influences. My government is making that happen, by backing teachers, calling out misogyny and intervening early. We can stop harm before it starts and save a generation of young men from the influence of online misogynists.

@CanadianPM @UNHumanRights Says the one that violated people’s rights for years and literally declared a fake emergency to justify it… which was later found to be a gross overreach of the government in court

Starting today, cash-grab municipal speed cameras are no longer allowed in Ontario. Instead, we’re supporting proactive, proven safety measures like speed bumps, roundabouts and better signage that slow drivers down without making life more expensive.

@dunkelman1 @fordnation They literally don’t work to slow down cars as proven by how many tickets are given out each day/week/month. To the tune of $40 million in tickets just in Toronto last year, so clearly people are not slowing down for them

@fordnation The cameras were not cash grabs. They were effective tools in slowing cars down. I’m very disappointed in this decision.

@dunkelman1 @_snow37 @fordnation That’s not even true. Where do you get that? The fine amounts for ASE camera tickets in Ontario are set by Regulation 355/22. For example: •1-19 km/h over the posted limit → $5.00 per km over. •20-29 km/h over → $7.50 per km over. •30-49 km/h over → $12.00

@PETAUK .@peta where is the outrage over the ostriches in Canada slaughtered in front of their flock mates? They were left on the ground to rot by @InspectionCan . This is a great opportunity for you do actually fight against real animal abuse by the government

“Act the way you'd like to be and soon you'll be the way you act.” – Leonard Cohen, Canadian poet and novelist. For Canadians, kindness comes naturally. On #WorldKindnessDay, let's embrace the spirit of compassion and make the world a kinder place—one act at a time. 🇨🇦❤️

Our freedom was won by brave women and men who answered the call — including the heroic First Nations, Inuit, and Métis members of the @CanadianForces. On Indigenous Veterans Day, we honour the sacrifice of those who have served, those who serve today, and their families.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has completed a cull of more than 300 ostriches at Universal Ostrich Farms in Edgewood, B.C., following an avian flu outbreak that killed 69 birds. The operation, carried out under veterinary supervision using professional marksmen, follows failed appeals in federal courts and a Supreme Court decision not to hear the case. The CFIA said the cull was necessary to protect public and animal health and to limit economic impact on Canada’s $6.8-billion poultry industry.

I will be a troll to the @rcmpgrcpolice until they block me or arrest me. Or both. I encourage everyone to respond to every single post from the RCMP terrorist organization with a picture of the ostrich missing ahead. An ostrich that was beheaded under their purported “keeping the peace”. Just ask them why the ostrich is missing a head. Did they cut the head off? Or did they just allow it to happen under their “keeping the peace”?

Canadians have a duty to honour the sacrifices of every person who has served or continues to serve our country in times of war, military conflict and peace. This Veterans’ Week, let’s remember our military achievements and sacrifices within Canada and throughout the Americas.
