Dead Rising took maybe 2 years to make. You can play it to its ending and see most of it in 8 hours. This game has been in development for over 15 years. It still has no fundamental point but keeps getting expanded to absorb more time. They don't know why they're doing this.

Basic contradiction of the Online Right is that people simultaneously want to have Their Thing with no normalfags to shit it up, but they also want access to normalfags for the purposes of influencing them. These two desires are incompatible because any platform with mass access & mass appeal will inevitably end up being guided by and catering to that same mass. The Fediverse works as a free speech platform, but almost no one from the Twitter Right even bothered trying to use it because it doesn't have the mass appeal that they crave (whether they'll admit that or not)

The best alternative was the fediverse, which allows anybody to make their own Twitter clone, and they all connect to each other. So you could follow @neetzsche@iddqd.pub and I could follow @revenant@whatever.com even though we each have our own servers. This was amazing because it makes it so (((they))) would have to literally ban the entire fucking Internet to shut it down. It wasn't even one service, but a protocol. It would be like turning off fucking email. Very few rightoids actually jumped ships. They would harp on and on about how we need a free speech PLATFORM. They couldn't stop stressing that word. Yellow paint again. Devs correct and wrong. Pause this video over the room with invisible enemies. It’s so psychotically murky and smeared with cheap spammed gfx i can’t even discern the ‘visual’ enemies. Every image of this game has 20 hues of light and shade over colour. Awful.

@PalladionHearts Infinite gives you a little scanner ping you can spam to highlight 'real' things in the game world. It always has to come down to something. Soyjaks like the clip guy have been calling this condescension for 10+ years now to feel smart but there's no game they play that doesn't.

@BEASTgroyper I feel this way about things like the hit markers and indicators for dropped weapons. Everything is so muddled and indistinct that you don't know what's going on, so they add things like this.
