BREAKING: The REAL reason for Pete Hegseth and Kid Rock's infuriating joy ride in deadly Apache military helicopters is revealed — and it's so much worse than we thought. This is how your tax dollars are being wasted... To celebrate (and advertise) the commencement of his nauseatingly titled "Freedom 250 Tour" in Dallas, Kid Rock — real name Robert James Ritchie — played a pre-show hype video of him and Hegseth riding in the Apaches. That's it. That's why they burned your tax dollars on expensive helicopter fuel and gave Kid Rock Special treatment. You can't have healthcare, childcare, or affordable housing. But Kid Rock can have his hype video. According to Variety, the video shows Ritchie arriving at an airport via private jet. Hegseth greets him on the tarmac and hugs him. "Mr. Secretary, what are you doing here, sir?” asks the washed up musician. “I’m going to your show tonight!” Hegseth says. “Awesome! Jump in, I’ll give you a ride," says Ritchie. “Well, I appreciate that. But, how about I give you a ride?” says Hegseth, at which point the video cuts to the Apache helicopters. Ritchie appears thrilled, high-fives Hegseth, and they board the aircraft. Ryan Grim of Drop Site News reported on Ritchie's private jet trip to Fort Belvoir for the Apache ride last week, but at the time it wasn't apparent that he was filming a video. Even so, it was clear that tax dollars were being exploited for partisan purposes. “Apache helicopters are not stationed at Ft. Belvoir so unclear where they came from,” Grim wrote on X. In other words, it sounds like the aircraft were transferred to the base, wasting even more fuel, just so that Ritchie could save some money on his tour's advertising budget. The choice of Apaches was intentional. Last month, Ritchie was criticized when he posted videos of Apaches flying up to his house in Tennessee for a PR stunt. The Army suspended the aircrews pending an investigation, but Hegseth immediately lifted the suspension. These aircraft cost $50 million a piece. By using these specific helicopters in a video promoting Ritchie's new tour, Hegseth is sending a clear message to the American people— He doesn't care what you think. He controls our military.
