@DuncanHenry78 @mrpaytonw If male violence is a problem for some men using male facilities, the campaign should be to stop male violence, not force women to accommodate these men.

Your personal take appears to say that women must accommodate fraudulent men if their fraudulent disguise puts them at risk from other men. Now I actually have no particular animus against men who disguise themselves as women for whatever reason and don’t try to force everyone to participate in their fantasy. Men who are adult enough to accept yes, they are still men. But to then say that this set of men are vulnerable to other men - because they have disguised themselves as the opposite sex - entitles them to access women’s spaces is rightly going to end up with women outraged at such a suggestion. No exceptions. No men in women’s spaces. They are not entitled to be there. One exception is a complete disregard for women as a group.

I know this take might get me dragged, but when I say I don’t want ‘men’ in women’s spaces, I’m primarily referring to men who are obviously and unambiguously man. I’m not a woman, so I believe women should have the primary say over the spaces they’ve fought to maintain. I won’t tell women to stay quiet on the issue, but I will share my own perspective as an outsider. This isn’t just personal feelings — it’s basic common sense. Take someone like @BlaireWhite . Most people wouldn’t immediately clock her as trans. That presentation removes the instinctive “that’s a man — this could be unsafe” reaction that many women would naturally have. By choosing to live and present fully as a woman, she’s earned the social perception of being treated as one. On the other hand, non-binary or clearly male-presenting individuals — bearded men in heavy makeup, for example — create an obvious problem in women’s spaces. That’s not difficult to understand. It’s also common sense that a highly passable transsexual could face real risks, including sexual assault, if forced into men’s bathrooms or locker rooms. We can’t dismiss that reality without sounding unreasonable or ignorant. We get nowhere in the Republican Party if we exclude every single person based on the actions of everybody else. When people show you who they are, judge them on that. Republicans claim to be against DEI yet we DEI stuff, too. Only “DEI” is silent when it’s our side and not the Democrats. Just my personal take.

@peterjlattimore @YorkshireJack5 @chrislynchmedia TPM represent/ are the elite Maori, with a vested interest in keeping the victim rhetoric alive, cause its a lucrative industry for them, and it is an easy way to get votes from those who they claim to represent, the 'opressed', victim class Maori.

@YorkshireJack5 @chrislynchmedia I work alongside many Maori, and the majority are nothing but awesome people... The only ones who seem oppressed are the lesser educated with no ambition or pride in themselves. Is TPM trying to market themselves for such individuals?

BlueSky is frothing at the news that NZ First’s member’s bill to define women and men in legislation has been pulled from Parliament’s biscuit tin. Almost like traans know that their ‘identities’ are built solely on the basis of being able to make the words ‘woman’ and ‘man’ mean whatever they want. Mr Shields of PATHA (NZ’s trans ‘healthcare’ group) seems very aware of what it will mean to him and his faux woman identity.

@winstonpeters Thank you! Please be strong and uncompromising on this issue! Women and children need protected spaces for safety, dignity, and access to fair competition. Don't pay attention to the people asleep at the wheel saying its not important. Truth must be upheld in law.

New Zealand First Member’s Bill that would ensure the biological definition of a woman and man are defined in law, has been drawn and will be debated in the House. This bill is not about being anti-anyone or anti-anything. This is about ensuring we as a country focus on the facts of biology and protect the term 'woman' in law. New Zealand First is the only party that campaigned on keeping men out of women’s sports, keeping men out of women's and girl's changing rooms, and we have received two petitions this term calling for protecting the term ‘woman’ in legislation. We were told at the time that we were going down a ‘rabbit hole’ and ‘on another planet’. But if you look at recent events, both internationally and in New Zealand, the pendulum is swinging back towards common sense and is proving us right. The Legislation (Definitions of Woman and Man) Amendment Bill will provide clarity and consistency in New Zealand law by defining “woman” as “an adult human biological female” and “man” as “an adult human biological male” in the Legislation Act 2019. This Bill would ensure our country moves away from the woke ideology that has crept in over the last few years, undermining the protection, progression, and safety of women. The Bill will add new sections 13A and 13B to the Legislation Act 2019 to safeguard sex-based protections and the importance of sex-based rights. Our laws should reflect biological reality and provide legal certainty. These definitions in law fight back against the cancerous social engineering we’ve seen being pushed in society by a woke minority. The need for legislation like this shows how far the deluded left has taken us as a society. But we are fighting back. This bill is a win for common sense.

@salltweets @PopBase Also, this decision is not directed at trans people at all, it is purely to ensure only women compete in the women's catagory. It will impact people with DSD also. This actually has nothing to do with trans people, and everything to do with fair competion for women.

Only ONE trans woman weightlifter competed in Tokyo 2021 and she did not win a medal. Can we please stop obsessing over trans people? Jesus wept. Absolute amateur hour from Labour's leader saying the quiet part out loud. "We're not the government." When asked about potential solutions. Even the Green Party managed to come up with an actual idea! Hipkins should be torn to shreds defending his zero ideas position during his media rounds tomorrow.
