I did a late night shop at Morrisons a while back and all they had open were the self serve tills. A group of five staff were standing together chatting. I asked if there were any manned tills open as I had a trolley load to scan? They laughed at me and said “what do you think those are?” pointing at the self service tills. I responded pointing at the trolley - “what do you think that is, guess what you can put it all back!” One of them then jumped on a till for me, giving me a look that would have curdled milk. What a naughty boy I am eh?🤣🤣🤣

@dresserman Another vote for headsets!. Working in a fashion store with 3 ret/5boh floors they speed effictcy/ helps service & safety. A good coll will remove & engage for any cust

One of the worst developments in retail has to be managers and colleagues wearing headsets. A barrier to approaching someone & if they’re talking, even more so.

Do the HS2 delays prove it's time to scrap it? The government's confirmed parts of the line will be delayed by two more years due to soaring costs. Is that unfair on the north? Should we scrap it?

@scottygb During live streaming was disgraceful to hear laughing pre & post statement presumably from said journalists.

Sky News aired the statement from the family live, which included criticism of Sky News. A guest on the channel afterwards mentioned the media coverage. Sky News has not made a direct reference to themselves being called out.

Nicola Bulley family statement: "We tried last night to take in what we had been told in the day, only to have Sky News and ITV making contact with us directly, when we had expressly asked for privacy..."
