All food & drink should be like this. I want a burger, but wife+kids want 'a bit of burger'. If I give them all a bit I'll only be left with 1/2 a burger 🙄

@GuyInACube @scottsewell We're using dataverse (with powerapps) to record the number of people in a facility, then report on it to the public for them to decide if they're comfortable going to that facility. ("realtime" only as accurate as the people doing people counts and data entry)

@GuyInACube @JKerski @cwebb_bi Yup, got it. I misheard. You said "How you can call any rest api *FOR* Power BI using Powershell", not "*FROM* PowerBI". My bad. Turning on closed captioning helped me on this one.

Not sure what a REST API is? Or what you can do with them in #PowerBI? Find out how you can easily take advantage of them without having to write a bunch of code. Use #PowerShell instead! 👨💻🕵️⚡

@BI_snax @GuyInACube I don't believe that's possible. To call Power BI Rest APIs from a Power BI file (using Power Query) you need to use a custom connector (secure) or Web.Contents with M (much less secure). @cwebb_bi recently posted on that: blog.crossjoin.co.uk/2021/08/29/con…

@SQLChick @PowerBITips @davidwprewitt I use a form for report feedback. Any way to tell the form which report the feedback is for? I have to ask the user to populate the report name.

Listened after-the-fact while running errands. Excellent discussion. Not mentioned in the podcast, but ... does anyone add a link or other mechanism ON THE REPORT that a user can click to easily give feedback, etc.? Report is slow. I wish this report showed _____.

@PowerBITips @davidwprewitt I have an (albeit generic) MS Form included in my apps. A menu item for the app is the form, to populate with 3 simple questions: -which report? (can't prepopulate unfortunately), "1-5 stars", and "Anything to tell us about it?"

@davidwprewitt This is a great point that I never actually was able to make on the podcast.
I’ve seen people making a power app and placing it in a report to ask for feedback. I’m not aware of any other visuals that do this..
Anybody else find any solutions for this?

@U_SAF @MSPowerBI Exactly. Free users on premium capacities are left in the dark when trying to discover reports they have access to.

Our EM sku does everything we need it to... EXCEPT provide users with a centralized repository of reports they have access to.

@SQLAllFather @EdDebug That's usually where it happens. Where it's mandated, but I'm going to "fight the system" and wear it however I want because FrEeDoM. From up here in Alberta where 90% of our ICU beds are taken up by unvaccinated anti mask humans.

@JamesMcG_MSBI We just had a federal AND municipal election in the last 3 weeks. Most frustrated I've ever been with my country. Not to mention our provincial party actively killing people with crappy covid policies. Politics is terrible.

If would be nice to have the option of a political party that says the things you want to hear AND gets things done. But since there isn’t one, I’ll choose to vote for one that gets things done rather than any with empty promises and meaningless platitudes.
