Something to note on Nets leading up to the draft: Nate Ament has been working out with trainer Zach Gonzales, who also trained Egor Demin during last year's pre-draft process. Brooklyn is reported to have interest in the 6'10" Tennessee forward.

🚨NEW POD🚨 I am joined by Bob Windrem of NetsDaily to discuss the #Nets' latest draft rumors and offseason intel. TUNE IN👇 youtube.com/watch?v=HIoKRi…

Some within the league are now monitoring Kenny Atkinson’s job security as Cavaliers head coach after being swept in the Eastern Conference Finals. There’s some buzz building around Jason Kidd potentially eyeing Cleveland as a preferred landing spot after leaving the Mavericks.

There is already “league-wide chatter” that De’Aaron Fox’s time with the Spurs could be cut short, per @sam_amick Rival executives believe Dylan Harper is “simply too good to come off the bench for long,” which could force tough conversations about Fox's future in San Antonio. @ErikSlater_ @NetsDaily @LockedOnNets Does Sean Marks overthink the “star upside” narrative and take Darius Acuff over Mikel Brown? Feels like the optics could get ugly if Acuff is dropping numbers in Sacramento, even if Brown is the better fit for Jordi’s system.

Darius Acuff on criticisms of his defense and whether his 6’7” wingspan will quell concerns: “To be honest with you, I don't really care… People are going to always have opinions… I know I want to play defense… I do feel like I need to pick up my defense. So I'm gonna do it."

I don't understand the 'fire Sean Marks' contingent. Especially right now. He's been awesome the last few years. The only reason they provide is "he hasn't delivered enough wins in 10 years". He took over the most fucked situation, possibly in league history, in 2016. Hired smart FO ppl (many who have gone on to be successful FO ppl elsewhere). Made shrewd signings, developed guys, changed the culture, hired a great coach, made BKN an attractive destination. Had the best free agent haul in the history of the franchise. Created one of the most formidable contenders in history. Nailed numerous picks in the 20s. Made awesome trades for KD, Mikal, CJ. Hired Jordi. Made a controversial pick at 8 last year, and it was probably the right pick. Yes, he's made a couple of bad trades (Harden is the glaring one). Hired a couple of bad coaches. He poorly managed the big 3 era. He didn't tank properly in 2025. Most of all, he's had bad luck (COVID, the lottery, toe on the line). But his process is sound. The guy is probably batting ~.800 over his tenure, and you could argue close to 1.000 since the big 3 era ended. That's way better than most GMs. But because the ping pong balls didn't fall his way this year, it's 'fire Sean Marks'. If you want him fired, be specific. What would you have him do differently? Are you still mad about the Harden trade? Is it the Ben Saraf pick? Which GM would you pick to come in and bank on doing a better job? @brooklynsbeat @brooklynnets85 @spenharris @NetsDaily @BillyReinhardt @LucasKaplan_ @BillSimmons
