Nets may have to swap their 2027 pick with Rockets but also have Knicks unprotected first. In 2028 (whose quality is still uncertain) Nets have first round swaps with Knicks and Suns meaning of the three teams’ picks, Nets get best one. There’s pressure but there are hedges.

If I am a Brooklyn Nets fan or any perennial tanking team, I am a nervous wreck. 2027 and 2028 drafts are not good or deep. You need to hit on THIS draft cause if you don’t there’s a chance you’re screwed for the next 2 years. You have to lose every game.
