Yesterday didn’t end the way we hoped, but I want to start by saying thank you. We knew from the beginning that taking on a sitting U.S. Senator with the full backing of the political establishment would be an uphill battle. But this campaign was never just about one election. It was about shining a light on the system. Over the past few months, we exposed issues that had gone unchallenged for years. From lobbyist money to the lack of accountability from career politicians who rarely face real competition. Thousands of Mississippians spoke up, asked questions, and demanded better. We may not have won this race, but something important started. People across this state are paying attention in a way they haven’t in a long time. That’s not the end of a movement. That’s the beginning of one. And since so many people spent this campaign asking about my family… here they are. This is the group that stood beside me through every mile of this race: the late nights, the early mornings, and the moments when things got a little ugly. I tried to spare them from most of the spotlight during the campaign, because politics can be rough and I wanted to protect them as much as I could. But the truth is, they are the reason I ran in the first place. And yes, along the way we also saw a side of politics that was disappointing, including some ugly comments and racism that never should have a place in our state or our party. But if anything, that just reminded me why it’s so important that good people step forward and run. Mississippi deserves leaders who are willing to show up, answer questions, and stand up for what’s right. So thank you to everyone who believed in this campaign, supported it, and showed up. And one more thing… For those who may have forgotten, I’m also an author. Let’s just say the next book might be coming sooner than expected. In 2013, Mississippi passed the Literacy based Promotion Act and started investing in the building blocks of education, systematically phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. They based their approach on research by IES, which showed kids need explicit, carefully sequenced phonics instruction, teaching the relationship between letters and sounds, not just guessing words from pictures and context clues. Mississippi also focused on training K-three teachers and put literacy coaches in struggling schools. They even started to hold back third graders who couldn't read proficiently, paired with intensive support to catch up. The results speak for themselves. Between 2013 and 2024, reading scores declined by more than 10 points in nearly every state except Mississippi, the only one that improved.”

The same Center for Effective Lawmaking has consistently ranked her among the least effective Republican senators — in some years DEAD LAST. So the question is fair: how is she spending her time in Washington? Mississippi deserves more than campaign credit card charges and political talking points. We deserve results. We deserve effectiveness. We deserve better.

If you are a Christian woman caught up in this, you need to do some serious soul searching right now. Ask yourself, what purpose does this serve? How does this glorify God? This isn't about worshiping Erika Kirk or claiming she is perfect. None of us are. It's about defending a widow who is under vicious and slanderous demonic attack. Think about her children. Think about her parents. Think about Charlie's family! God himself is "protector of widows." (Psalm 68:5) and part of what it means to do justice as a Christian is to defend and care for widows. (Isaiah 1:17; Jeremiah 22:3; James 1:27). If you are a Christian woman caught up in this, I tell you with love as a sister in Christ, you need to repent.

I understand individuals who would rather not have any industrial project in their backyard. We all choose where to live, whether it’s urban, suburban, agrarian, or industrial. I do not understand the impulse to prevent our country from advancing technologically—except as civilizational suicide. This instinct seems to infect the far left across lots of domains: immigration, crime fighting, and the national debt to name a few. You can tell they’re just sort of yearning to submit our society to outside forces: mobs, international councils, or communist China. Maybe they’re exhausted and just want a few years of taxpayer-funded rest before they shuffle off. I don’t want to go gently. I love this country, and want her to rise. That’s why Mississippi has become the home of the world’s most impressive supercomputers. We are committed to America and American power. We know that being the hub of the world’s most awesome technology will inevitably bring prosperity and authority to our state. There is nobody better than Mississippians to wield it. I am tempted to sit back and let other states fritter away the generational chance to build. To laugh at their short-sightedness. But the best path for all of us would be to see America dominate, because our foes are not like us. They don’t believe in order, except brutal order under their heels. They don’t believe in prosperity, except for that gained through fraud and plunder. They don’t think or act in a way I can respect as an American. So, let’s see Americans (and Mississippians) dominate this space—no matter how many leftists want us to roll over and die instead.

Students at Longfellow Elementary School (@sdschools) hosted an anti-ICE student walkout during school hours. Leftist parents showed up, demanding that people not record the children as they were shouting anti-ICE slogans at the public. These parents want to use their children as public political tools, then want to claim "privacy" when they get exposed.
