@SportsSturm Your naive to how business side of League + their partners (TV Partners, Nike etc) work.. I am 100% the Luka to LA deal was way higher than Nico, Pelinka and their Owners ;)

In other words, if the league has its revenues guaranteed through 2035 (they do), why would Adam Silver risk PRISON to help the Lakers get a star? It makes no sense. I get fans believe it, but it is high level federal fraud felonies and prison for a guy who makes 8 figs a year.

The level of Federal Fraud charges that would hit the NBA if this was ever able to be proven are immense. Let me say it again, felonies for league and team officials at the highest levels would be off the charts. And there would be leaks. I don't buy it.

Luka looks miserable. Went from Lively/Gafford back to square one and desperation 5 out small ball. He had perfect squad ready build off championship run to this.. just like Mavs fans he needs this summer to reset. The Joy is gone..
