One of the best decisions we made at @QFEX was to cancel notion and move our entire knowledge base to markdown files in a shared repo; it was the beginning of our ongoing journey to move all operations towards agentic workflows.

"When I was working with Peter Thiel — I must have been 21 or so — we did a study of CEO salaries...
There were three different cohorts — at the time salaries were lower, this was 21 years ago — there was one band that was $75k and under, there was $75k to $120k, and there $120k and above...
And the CEOs for startups that were $75k and under just massively outperformed the ones that were $120k and above... it was very clear they were there to get upside and not to get paid...
It's definitely one of the ten things you want to check when you're investing in a company early stage. If they're there to pay themselves a huge amount, that's a huge red flag."

As an ex McKinsey consultant and now a VC, honestly #1 is absolutely obvious and buildable *today*. I’ve been tinkering with deep research and it’s literally obvious.
If I was to quit VC and build something now, that would be it. If you’re building this and are in Europe, I’m very keen to chat and see if I can write you the first check.

our educational system is extremely unfun. you're forced in a classroom metabolizing lifespan for 8 hours a day, cramming homework, memorizing lists... we want creative project-based learning. 1:1 tutoring. personalized, self-paced lesson plans. joy and mastery drive discipline!

i was recently discharged from the icu at the sf hospital after traumatic brain injury due to a man hitting me on the back of my head with a metal pipe, completely unprovoked, in the mission in san francisco. this man is known to the police since he’s done this before to other people. afaik they will not be pressing charges or prosecuting this individual due to the state of sf politics.

To make America great again one thing we need to do is transition from an income-based tax system to a consumption-based tax system. Tariffs tax consumption. Since you get less of what you tax, tariffs reduce consumption. So, in the short run that means a severe U.S. recession.

Solution: A Stack Overflow-like platform for AI prompts
Business model: advertising, premium
- Premium: prompt creators can paywall their prompts, with the platform taking a rev share; users can offer a bounty on prompts they want created
Example use case: Right now I'm trying to create a prompt that turns an interview transcript into 5, authentic social posts. I've been playing around with the prompt for 5 hours. I'd happily pay $100 for something that gets me 80% of the way there.
