Spent the evening at the San Mateo County Democratic Watch Party. Members and politicians had a lot of interesting insight into California voters and what the Democratic Party needs to do going forward. And they say it’s not just about beating Donald Trump.

Hard to imagine a better metaphor for the inequitably fucked up relationship between San Francisco and Oakland than a virus-riddled cruise ship being transferred from the former to the latter.
