It was an incredible season and a good chunk of school records were surpassed by this special group of young men. The Win Streak Continues! 12 Straight! Game 1 saw the win streak nearly come to an end before freshman Levi Braun doubled in the bottom of the 7th to tie it up, 1-1 and head to extras. After Abilene scored one in the top of the 8th making it 2-1... in the bottom of the 8th, with 2 outs and runners on first and second... Levi Braun did it again driving another double to the wall, clearing the bases for the walk off. Great performances on the mound from @akunz2007 : 5IP, 5H, 1ER, and Sam Rogers: 3IP, 1H, 1ER (came in with the bases loaded, no outs, and gave up no runs. The 2026 Walkoff Wood Bat Tournament Champs!!! Championship vs Mid-Buchanan: Isaac Braun started the action with a 3-run bomb in the bottom of the first. Mid-Buchanan took a 6-3 lead in the top of the 4th before Macoy Moody hit a no-doubter Grand Slam to take the lead. Cooper Niedfeldt slammed the door shut going 3.1 innings, giving up only 1 hit and 0 runs to seal the deal for the Red Raider's as the 2026 Walk Off Wood Bat Champs!
