@JamesW_44 @Argyle £23 per game. About 2 hours of work on minimum wage or the cost of a takeaway pizza. First crack at tickets for away games. Doesn’t seem like a bad deal to me.

@Sadie_NC Better solution. Have cameras in every classroom, lunchroom, library, recreation areas, and hallways. Third party monitoring. Video recording allowed to be viewed by parents, teachers and administrators. This makes everyone accountable for their actions.

I think this is an excellent idea. This allows parents to see what is being done in the classroom and it allows teachers to show parents when their children are unruly. Thoughts?

@Sadie_NC @DKH013 Terrible idea. You want a clip of your kid being shared online by other parents? Maybe big brother doesn’t need to be watching all the time……

@Samstricko181 People should be able to work when they wish. Simply don’t open your emails at the weekend. Sounds like your culture is wrong. People can send emails when they wish but they should know people will only be expected to read and action them during their working hours.

Having a weekend & holiday email embargo is a game changer. There’s something cathartic about knowing the white noise stops going into these key points. We can use the lazy line of but we are all adults…. But not all adults possess emotional intelligence.

@BSmithPAFC You’re in a department of 12 people and each member of the team emails you things that need to be actioned by the end of Monday over the weekend. Are these fair? These things happen. We can all use the lazy line of but we can ignore our emails but we can’t really.

@Samstricko181 The issue there isn’t the time the email is sent. That’s not hard to grasp. For example. The head may want to share information needed for Wednesdays CPD so sends info on Sunday night.

@BSmithPAFC No I disagree. The EI is a real issue. A few scenarios… your line manager, who is the deputy head, emails you every Saturday night with a series of tasks to do for you Monday 9am line management meeting. Are you leaving that for Monday morning?

@Samstricko181 Then don’t read them! I prefer to receive them over the weekend &read before Monday morning. Other colleagues read emails on Monday when they arrive for work. We have the choice when we access them. There’s no need for the rudeness about EI just becaise we disagree is there.

@BSmithPAFC There is no need to send emails then. This has nothing to do with childcare. Why should you send your problem or something you want someone to know or action outside the working week? You’ve clearly never received lots at weekends / holidays or lack emotional intelligence.

@Samstricko181 Organisation? Maybe they work then due to childcare issues during the week. Why is it bad organisation to send them but not to open and read them? Just don’t open your emails. Why the big deal?

@BSmithPAFC They don’t. It’s all about cultural habits. I disagree with you - receiving endless emails over weekends / holidays in poor & a reflection of other people’s inability to organise themselves. The you don’t have to look is a terribly poor view…

@Samstricko181 I disagree. Staff should work when they wish. You dont have to look at your emails or read any f you do not with to. I don’t want 50 emails arriving at 8 am each Monday morning

Some people will send you big emails with endless things to do going into a holiday/weekend or while you’re at those non-working points. This is often a reflection of their poor organisation & it ends up being the recipient who has the monkey passed on.

“Greater depth” isn’t harder maths for a few. It’s deep understanding for all. In Teaching Maths for Mastery, I focus on structure, not speed - giving every pupil access to the thinking behind maths. That’s equity. amzn.eu/d/0iSkZEEg 🐝

@Dezzi_Searle @CarlBarnard15 But….werent you expecting renewals in 6 weeks time? So, you’ve been saving for 10 months rather than 12? That would make you a couple hundred short. If it’s that big an issue, dm me, and I’ll chuck in 250 for you.

I think we all knew an increase was coming to fill this financial hole we are in due to miss management and bad decisions, totally fine with it, they have us over backwards anyway, and i can’t give up Argyle. What I have an issue with is only a month to find the money!? Surely they need to rethink the timescale? For family’s it must be hell to find potential thousands in just a few weeks time. #pafc

The club have completely got this wrong again IMHO. Not so much the increase amount but the expected timescale to pay and the cleverly worded hint that there are 4,500 others waiting to take your seat if you don’t pay up. Not the first time the average fan has been shafted #pafc

Would have seemed a crazy thought just a few months ago. But I’m genuinely worried that Tom might get poached in the summer. Incredible turnaround. And there aren’t many better performing managers post Xmas. So I fully expect him to be on many shortlists.
