We are at a moment that will define President Trump’s legacy. His instincts have been to finish the job he started in Iran, but he is being ill advised to pursue a deal that would not be worth the paper it is written on. Our commander-in-chief needs to allow America's skilled armed forces to finish the destruction of Iran's conventional military capabilities and reopen the strait.   Further pursuit of an agreement with Iran's Islamist regime risks a perception of weakness. We must finish what we started. It is past time for action.

Last night The energy and enthusiasm for Thomas Massie was nothing I have ever witnessed since the 2015-2016 Trump rallies. It felt like a presidential victory speech in that room. Yes, the United States has the most progressive tax system in the world. The top 1% pay 40% of taxes, the bottom 50% pay 3% of taxes. We can make it even more progressive by zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. It’s a small amount of the total tax revenue but very meaningful to people in this group.

The former FBI Director openly talking like government agencies are supposed to resist elected leadership instead of serving the American people is exactly why millions of Americans no longer trust these institutions the way they once did. What really set people off was Comey saying “hang on 2.5 years, then we can rebuild,” because it sounded less like a former law enforcement official and more like a political activist rallying unelected insiders to outlast the administration. That’s the part fueling outrage across conservative America right now. Americans vote for presidents to run the executive branch, not to spend years battling entrenched bureaucrats who think they answer to their own political ideology instead of the Constitution. Then Comey tried framing the situation as career prosecutors and agents being “forced out” over investigations the president disliked, but critics argue the bigger issue is whether parts of the federal government became openly politicized against Trump from the very beginning. Trump on Taiwan: When you look at the odds, China is very, very powerful, big country. That's a very small island. Think of it, it's 59 miles away. We're 9500 miles away. I think we are going to see the eventual withdrawal of US influence in Taiwan and Ukraine. Trump is removing Chinese/Russian influence from our hemisphere, Venezuela, Panama, Cuba, etc., and I think Trump wants to remove our presence from China and Russia’s neighborhood as well. Putin and Xi stood down this entire time while Trump removed their influence in our region, and I think they did so in exchange for us to do the same. This fits into my overall thesis that we are seeing the world map be redrawn, and spheres of influence are being consolidated. The US will no longer be the world police, our military is coming home, and the superpowers will be in charge of their respective regions. I think Trump is ending the proxy wars, the espionage, the weapons of mass destruction arms races, the Cold War that never ended, and preventing WW3 before it begins. We will stay in our yard, China/Russia will stay in their yard, and we can trade with each other and coexist peacefully. We can treat each other as global partners, instead of enemies on a collision course for war. I think this is the end goal of the plan. A sustainable and lasting peace.
