This was all streamed from Bitcoin using Ordinals. The 3D world supports real-time multiplayer interactions, and decentralized land ownership. All this is on-chain on Bitcoin, and as immutable and secure as Bitcoin itself.
The weather in the world reacts to Bitcoin fees, clouds are linked to transaction volume, and time in the world is determined by block height. Makes sense for a Bitcoin world.
Real-time multiplayer interactions is one of the newest features. This is particularly difficult to do because Bitcoin block times are ~10 minutes. Bitcoin has been around for 17 years, and we're now seeing fascinating new things being built on top of it.

The hate for NFTs isn’t new. It’s the same thing every new movement faces. In Art, impressionists were mocked as unfinished and sloppy. Even the term, "impressionist," was originally meant as an insult!
Today it’s "right-click save" and "JPEGs lol." My recent post shared a proof that pretty much any on-chain work can be "right-click saved". The images aren’t scarce. But the on-chain provenance, first mint, verified token, historic moment. That’s uncopyable.

@DGMD22 To be fair, Ordinals are the Bitcoin of collectables. But I respect the path Eth NFTs paved. It showed what was possible which is immense. The truth is though, permanence and provenance are of upmost importance. One day soon they will be demanded. Bitcoin is the ultimate canvas.

All real world collectibles will have a major problem with NFTs because we solve for all of their inherent short comings. TCGs suffer from the same fate as all other non digitally native collectibles, they lack provable scarcity and don't have unquestionable provenance. As my meme card can attest to only NFTs deliver on those two points. Furthermore the value of unquestionable provenance and provable scarcity climb significantly in value over time. Yes, they should be afraid of NFTs, because we solve for what holds back the real world collectible market.

Fun proof that NFTs can be "right-click saved" on-chain. Any Ethereum art can be pixel perfect reproduced on Bitcoin and vice versa. Dynamic art that depends on future blocks are harder to reproduce across chains, but few artworks fall in that bucket.
Pixels can be copied, but the provenance cannot. The images are not scarce, but how the on-chain work uses the blockchain, the original act, the historic moment that made the work what it is, that cannot be copied, and that is the significant art recorded on the blockchain.
