@itsdonnyok inscriptions being basically the only thing denominated in BTC and driving actual use as money is a point that oddly doesn't come up at all enough, tho it's one that @brian_trollz has made in his articles despite the fact that he's not really into inscriptions

Some misunderstood concepts on the internet today: 1. Inscriptions don’t use op return, and the limit was still 1MB before core expanded relay policy. 2. People buy inscriptions on chain using bitcoin as money. They’re kinda the only thing denominated in BTC. ily <3

Ordinals' Cultural Reconfiguration 𝟙. paradigm shift: it is a mistake to evaluate ordinals using ethereum nft metrics, because their value does not lie in mass trading but in being cultural assets secured by the most permanent and secure network. 𝟚. audience: although the audience seems small right now, just as it did in the early days of bitcoin and smart contracts, what truly matters is not volume but building the infrastructure for when large numbers of users eventually arrive. 𝟛. natural selection: as noise, speculation, and low-quality projects disappear, the ecosystem becomes stronger thanks to those who genuinely care about it. 𝟜. a new identity: bitcoin has evolved from money to a store of value, and now we are witnessing its transformation into a platform for digital culture, even if the market has not yet fully recognized its potential. 𝟝. historical value beyond a jpeg: you are not simply buying an image. you are acquiring a historical artifact, a community, a cultural symbol, and a place within a broader narrative. 𝟞. more sophisticated liquidity: capital will return, but not in the same way as before, when almost every collection pumped. there will likely be more capital concentrated in fewer collections, more efficient markets, and more sophisticated collectors, favoring the projects that survive. 𝟟. risk: there are no guarantees. this is only a thesis. there is always the possibility that capital concentrates in only a handful of collections, that other narratives capture attention, or that bitcoin continues to prioritize only its financial use. ➤ conclusion and personal view: ordinals are not dying. they are simply going through a phase of consolidation and natural selection. if the digitization of art continues to expand and the market once again values scarcity, provenance, and assets inscribed directly on bitcoin, collections with history and strong communities could become highly relevant across the ecosystem, benefiting a large share of long-term holders.

NEW: The „Export CENT” card now follows the detail view: switch a CENT to Dual view and the exported PNG and PDF show front and back side by side. In Single view the export stays front-only as before.

The incredible cents.vision website by @daidatep now features links to Raster. Thank you, Martin 🙏 As far as I know, this is by far the best environment to explore CENTS by Rutherford Chang in depth.

The only changes I’d make to this 7 months later is moving @TheWizardsOfOrd up significantly, while moving Puppets down a level and adding @RuptureNFT and @ModalL0gic to the list Let’s see how things evolve over the coming months and years

My definitive ORDINALS ranking for 2026: This is what I believe/my goals to invest in as a long term ordinals collector Even though the market hasn’t proven it yet, @dmtnatcats are the most innovative digital collectible since CryptoPunks and imho they are the ‘holy grail’
