I sat with a woman this past Sunday whose body was fighting a battle most of us can’t even comprehend stage 4 breast cancer. Yet the moment I stepped into the room, it wasn’t the illness that filled the space… it was her light. Her smile didn’t look forced. It wasn’t borrowed strength. It radiated.
Her energy didn’t feel fragile. It was contagious. She didn’t talk about what she was losing—she talked about how far God had already brought her. And in that moment, something became clear. See, the mind doesn’t follow the body… the body follows the mind. She had already made a decision long before I walked into that room:
If it didn’t create me, it cannot break me. While her body was under attack, her perspective stood undefeated. So it makes you wonder… What stops us from having a good day because of a bad moment?
Why do we allow inconvenience to steal what illness couldn’t take from her? Here she was, facing one of life’s hardest realities, yet choosing gratitude.
Choosing joy.
Choosing to remember that her good days still outnumbered her bad ones. And maybe that’s the lesson. Your altitude in life isn’t determined by what you face…
It’s determined by how you choose to face it. Because even in the lowest valleys,
a lifted attitude can still take you higher.

@MediacomSupport The @MediacomSupport rep I spoke with saw in his notes that the modem was supposed to be delivered, but saw that it just wasn't delivered. We got no call, no notification, nothing. To find out at 8pm the night before our internet goes out that the modem isn't arriving isn't nice.

@BTroch @EricSpracklen My estimate ~2% for the 80s methodology shift, ~4% after the 90s changes. Ballpark, not precise.
