Beyond ecstatic to tell y’all that I secured a position in Mount Sinai’s Translational Immunology Training program (T32)! I’ll be studying t-cell vaccine responses in primary immunodeficiency patients (PID), as well as the role of race/ethnicity in timely PID Dx. #sisepuede👨🏽‍🔬🔬🧫

It’s #FellowsFriday ! Meet Dr. Javier Cabrera-Perez, @CD4cell our 1st year Fellow. He was born in Cuba and emigrated to the US for his brothers medical treatment, which inspired him to study medicine. He completed residency at @TexasChildrens. He loves cooking🥘and photography📸

2/Led by @ericashenoy @PaigeWickner, post vax symptoms associated with testing + for COVID-19 were: 3 or more low-severity "overlap" symptoms (e.g., fatigue, headache), 1 or more high-severity overlap symptoms, or at least 1 typical COVID-19 symptom (e.g., cough, runny nose).
