This tragedy was completely preventable. Stephanie Minter would still be here if not for the insane policies of Fairfax sanctuary politicians that RELEASED Abdul Jalloh repeatedly from jail back onto American streets to maim and murder. His prior criminal history included rape, malicious wounding, assault, drug possession, identity theft, trespassing, larceny, firing a weapon, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Woke up this morning to the redolent smell of honeysuckle coming through my opened window. Spirits gladdened, I lay there contemplating how fortunate I felt to wake up another day in Texas. But then, opening my curtains in order to really drink in that honeysuckle smell, I noticed that, after heavy rains two nights ago, my lawn has grown three inches. I swear I mowed it just about a week ago and now it needs to be mowed again. I was very appreciative of the rain when it fell, but it certainly is a two-sided coin, isn't it? The corn hereabouts is looking great, though: I saw some more than feet tall yesterday.
