@kneand_ It's more his speed differentials aren't great. He needed outlier on fastball with like a 95-96 mph sinker to enforce bad contact. People will be swinging for the fastball and hit sinker out with how it currently is..

@MikeDro_ Possible. I was just watching I think frostie and guy check swinged and ball was inside zone and called a ball.

@B_Schelin So as far as I know, the check swings are just an animation that isn’t used to determine the actual call. It’s just RNG mixed with the pitcher’s K/9. There used to be plate discipline as part of it, perhaps it’s vision now

Testing out the new strike zone They said this is essentially a visual update, that’s fine The ball touches the zone and it’s a strike I’ll post the overhead screenshots of it in the replies but THIS is perfect umpire accuracy.

@CamTalkinSports @thuuuuney Problem is a switch hitter with equal or slightly less stats will outperform a same side hitter. Getting jammed by inside sinkers and outside sliders don’t make your bat smaller. It’s a stupid mechanic

@B_Schelin @thuuuuney Neither should ideally... a perfectly placed slider at the bottom outside corner of the zone should be rightfully hard to hit and less rewarding when you do hit it.

I’m saying because of stupid switch hitter Meta we have a game where a worse rated switch hitter will hit better than the same side.

@thuuuuney Baseball fans understand and agree with this logic. Diamond Dynasty exclusive players who think everything should be catered to them dislike it. As a franchise/RTTS, this game is perfectly fine
