BREAKING: FedEx driver who pleaded guilty to kidnapping and murdering 7-year-old Athena Strand, has been sentenced to death. Tanner Horner snatched Athena while he was delivering a Barbie doll to her home in Paradise, Texas. At one point during the trial, jurors broke down in tears while hearing audio of Horner killing Athena after he told her to take off her shirt and said she was "really pretty." Athena repeatedly asked for her mother before she was killed. "Horner is then heard asking Athena to remove her shirt, and there are several moments when she says "no" and asks for her mom. That was followed by repeated sounds of crying, screaming and banging," NBC reported last month. Following three hours of deliberation today, Horner was sentenced to death by lethal injection.

- Cinnabar looks a lot better but also doesnt have any cracked bricks meaning for my purposes its useless - the chiseled blocks make them incredibly themed meaning those i cant ever use anywhere unless its supposed to be abstracted or related to their theme of slimes and spiders

So now with 26.2 being feature complete here is my final verdict: Not even bare minimum - sulfur cubes arent for me, so its hard for me to care for them but i think minigame people will have a field day with them - sulfur is sadly still quite ugly and did not get cracked bricks

@MintRefresh_MC Mojang gives its excuses for why "its not that simple" but modders do it all the time. It could take a modder an hour to add a cinnabar beetle to the game with zero bugs. Its been done in the past with previous updates. Stop defending Mojang's laziness. They bait and switched us.

@slicedlime Just a minor complaint, it looks really strange to have a sulfer spring in the middle of random biomes like forests and stuff. It definitely feels like something that should stay in hot biomes. Y'all consider that maybe? Also, I'm kinda heartbroken about the beetle...

Let me tell you something: It’s about time you guys accept that Snape is gonna be played by a badass BLACK actor, twice BAFTA-nominated and critically acclaimed for his stage performance as Hamlet. Enough with the endless baby tantrums already. If you still have any issues, go contact the HBO complaints department. Maybe they’ll reshoot the entire first season just to please you.

@SlimerSlimy @NovaWostra Mod authors generally just transition the difference onto the vanilla block. So whatever the vanilla block is normally, plus all the features it's missing from the modded block would be added as modded functions on to the vanilla block.

@Simon_Hypixel @ZiadAhmed2371 I mean, All it takes is a mod to add crafting recipes for them I'm sure. It's understandable though, keeping the immersion of the medieval/fantasy adjacent style for survival while giving us the ability to go crazy in custom worlds and servers.

@Simon_Hypixel Could I please ask that you explain your mindset with the farming table log change? Redwood is available in Biome 1, while Drywood is in Biome 2. It made sense for the earlier upgrade to require Redwood. Why did you decide to switch it around and make the later tier the easy one?

Pre-Release Patch Notes (Feb 11, 2026) Update 3 (Part 3 of 3) Enable via Launcher → Settings → Pre-Release The release of Update 3, including its 3 parts, is scheduled for next week! HEADLINE FEATURES - Added a very basic, early version of taming! Some of the friendlier animals you find in your adventures can now be tamed, provided you have their favourite food in hand! - Tamed animals can be petted with an empty hand and fed once in a while - some of them can also be milked, sheared, or mounted! - Tamed animals won't run away from players (unless they’re hit), and will occasionally greet them. - Added Sickles, capable of harvesting multiple crops in a single swing. - Updated climbing, enabling side-stepping, dropping down, and rotating around ropes. - Added an Anchor UI system, enabling server plugins to add UI elements to client pages, such as the world map. This will allow modders to insert into various predefined points as we add them. - Brazilian-Portuguese and Russian have been added as our first new in-game language options, kicking off the first phase of our localization efforts. Additional languages will be introduced in the coming weeks. BUGFIXES & OTHER IMPROVEMENTS - Updated the world map and chunk updates to use their own streams. - Fixed a crash related to creative tool previews when undoing & re-applying very large changes. - Fixed a crash when a skin fails to be saved. - Fixed a crash on Linux when opening a folder without Nautilus installed. - Added missing validation to reduce the number of IllegalStateExceptions that may be encountered. - Fixed an issue whereby copied entities could share data structures incorrectly. - Fixed an issue whereby debug frustums would not render. - Fixed an issue whereby key binding information would not display correctly. - Fixed an issue whereby some Apple Trees would float off the ground. - Adjusted the player hitbox when sitting and sleeping. - Fixed an issue with the spawn suppression system crashing upon regenerating chunks. - Fixed an issue where respawning inside of a portal world would leave the player in a zombified state. - Fixed an issue with full-bright toggling that prevented full brightness occurring when entering Creative mode. - Fixed an issue with server configurations enabling all mods by default. - Fixed an issue whereby some unlucky fish would spawn in lava. - Fixed a number of village furniture items incorrectly requiring a pickaxe to break. - Fixed a number of issues related to clouds when the weather transitions. - Fixed an issue with fire spreading above 256 blocks. - Fixed an issue with durability whereby dying would cause some carried items to incorrectly become unusable. - Fixed an issue with client worlds not enabling backups by default, if not otherwise configured. - Fixed a number of memory leaks. - Updated some grammar and removed some typos.

@Simon_Hypixel Grass spreading is nice and is fantastic for convenience, but absolutely horrible for landscaping. Is there a way to KEEP grass from spreading? This has the unfortunate side effect of ruining custom biomes, custom terrain, garden detailing, and even other builds that rely on dirt

@KweebecCorner I mean, I would've rather it just not spawn though. It was kinda immersion breaking, especially with this particular structure not being exactly uncommon. I have 3 right next to each other.
