Let’s look at it critically..If for example one is from the family of Okoya, Adenuga or Kessington, It will be very difficult to drop such names as it opens doors naturally for the generations to come.. If you’re Dayo Okoya and your kids start bearing Tunde Dayo, you have made life more difficult for them..it’s very easy to change name when it’s not from a famous family..
MumZee✨🇳🇬@_DebbieOA

For men; I feel like after bearing your grandfather's last name, wouldn't you want your children to bear your own name?

An actual soldier, life hit. He left and started street photography. He did it passionately and creatively, life hit. He started cab driving… To contribute to the world around him, he started social media activism. E don tey wey person death shake me like this, e don tey…. Life wasn’t very kind to Kola, it wasn’t very smooth but Kola was a fighter! A fighter at heart and in deed. He never stopped living and didn’t mind starting all over, time and time again. Naaah! I pray He finds rest eternal, and if he should ever come , may he come back into a life that is much easier and kinder… Rest on… Kola. I join your family and friends to pray for your soul.

Working in a place like this just for 1 week during internship at the histopathology lab It will make you realize how someone can switch from life to death in just a short time. When people are brought in, they will say the cause of the death; A corper was brought in dead cus he slumped while doing morning jogging 🏃, someone that was healthy the previous day, other corpers and family members didn’t believe he was actually dead they prayed from morning till 3pm nothing happened they have to leave later in the evening A pregnant woman was brought in, died during delivery, A man was brought in cus their both capsized and he didn’t make it Another person was brought in Dead from an accident scene. Another man brought in, died from a fight over disagreement, if I see people fighting on the road it offs me cus if one person just hit the other stone on the head that might be it. All these people were alive hours ago but death happened. Nobody is getting out of this place alive don’t take things too serious. Live life and enjoy moments. We don’t live once, we live everyday and die once.

Is this even legal?. Morticians are allowed to have pages on social media?. So after all our gra gra, this is how it all ends? We are indeed nothing but pencils in the hands of the creator. Just came across his page on TikTok today and that page will really humble you.

Allow me to introduce you to the late Sheik Ibraheem Niass. He was a Senegalese leader of the Tijani Sufi order of Islam in West Africa. He has a large following. His followers display his pictures everywhere, constantly sing his praises, and see his image daily. Occasionally, Sheik Niass appears to his followers in miraculous ways, sometimes manifesting on a wall or unexpectedly in the sky. Lambalillahi!

@Mubaraq005 @confidentialdrm @lorddrey no problem. brymo is an album artist, but start with these 10 records — they’re from different projects released years apart. you can dive deeper into his projects later. that’s when you’ll feel his artistry even more. start with: 1. tabula rasa 2. ‘yellow’ and 3. ‘osó.’

How is it my fault that you don't have the intelligence to understand Fela Kuti? Your wighead and Yahoo brains that can only achieve gift cards and banger tweets can't modify genius. That is why you listen to Osapolor and Wizkid and think that is quality Music when artists like Brymo and Beautiful Nubian exist.

Some of you are saying your parents listened to King Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey more than Fela, and you might be right. Fela signed with several foreign labels that helped him distribute his albums abroad, he sold more records abroad than in Nigeria, and he never performed at parties for politicians and socialites like Obey and KSA did. His fans were mainly the common people and he associated with them 24/7. He played for Nigerians almost daily at his Shrine, all for FREE. That’s why many of your parents didn’t have his records at home, they went to the Shrine to listen to him live and free.
