So aesthetically pleasing watching that throw coming in from Roy and Jose reaching towards the stumps with his one hand to win us this World Cup. 🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣😍❤️😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛

#CheslynSwartz 💰 💲 💵 💱 💸 For years #CheslynSwartz promised to land billions (even trillions) for investors, using fancy "bank instruments" ... the money was always coming "tomorrow." But all he ever delivered was absolute trauma. It all ended rather dramatically and we got it all on camera. 🚁 🚨 🚔 🔒 🔫 @eVOD link to this ep right here: watch.evod.co.za/details/brand_… We will be back 1st Feb 2025 #Sundays: 🖥 17:30 @eNCA @DStv #403 🖥 After the @eTV 8pm movie

Saturday night I was travelling from Century City back home and the route I take is the M5 South. I was in the centre lane and passed a LARGE log perfectly centrered in the far left lane. A few metres from the log was an individual sitting crouched in the bushes. (Kensington opp. Ysterplaat) I realised what I've just seen and called the highway patrol which confirmed they would respond immediately to this threat. Criminals are looking to capture the N1 in the same way they did the N2.

@BigKev67 Phrases like "we know it won't work out all the time". "I tell them to back themselves with whatever shot". "there will be one with your name on it". It's swing and miss stuff. No trusting of the defence.

@NHoultCricket Will cost a lot to sack mcullam. If he does go they need someone like Trott or lehman in to sort this mess.

They need a hard arsed coach. One who respects graft, fundamentals and accountability rather than unsustainable flash and vibes. There’s plenty of talent in this team. It just needs to be taught some discipline and game sense.
Kevin Adams@AshesVictory

@WG_RumblePants Kirsten, Gillespie or Trott. Back to basics & start playing "properly" again. McCullum can go tonight as far as I'm concerned & he should have nothing to do with the white ball team either.

@bbctms However u prepare, how about they practice leaving a few? Aussies are not a better side quality wise, they are just smarter and play the situation. This is where all the anger stems from, because this team could do well if they didn’t try to bazball everything out the ground

Serious thought. The word "Bazball" has become a distraction. A smokescreen for what we're really watching. Average bowling, reckless batting, terrible catching. It doesn't need a funky label; call it what it is, rank bad cricket.

The blueprint in the second innings should be clear. Treat Mitchell Starc with the respect he deserves and force the other bowlers to get the wickets. Clear enough to numpties like us I guess. No doubt Baz will order the Charge of the Light Brigade instead.

@MAGAGEM1 @tommorris32 Genuinely mental how they haven’t worked it out. Yes they’re not the best but the lines / lengths we bowl are just hilarious. Sensible batters just watch it go by and then cash in on bad balls. Probably because they’re always bowling against our morons in the nets

Remarkable England is on the verge of losing by an innings to an Aussie team without Cummins, Hazlewood & Lyon + a batting group in transition. All after four years of meticulously preparing for this precise challenge. 2-0 will be great for Australia but disappointing for cricket. @SEN_Cricket @1116sen #Ashes

@awbalfour @philmcnulty Throwing their wickets away doesn’t seem to be a great tactic though Alex. Notably against a pretty weak Aussie team not even at full strength. We’ve only played against them for five days.

The one saving grace from this Ashes embarrassment is that this will be end of McCullum and the myth of Bazball, which can only be a good thing.

@Nealbackup Surprised with the lack of talk about how he clearly isn’t fit enough either. Looks threatening during his first spell then barely hits 135kmh after that

I’m sorry, but Archer is so bloody overrated. Averages over 30 in the few tests he’s played, gets incredibly favourably conditions in Aus, and can’t even bowl the tail out. Talk about flattering to deceive.

No Hazlewood for 2+ Tests. No Cummins for 2 Tests. An opener on debut. An opener who normally bats No.5. If England was going to win an Ashes series in Australia this was it. And without a big turnaround today it will surely be 2-0 down going to Adelaide.
