I don’t own any Bit Coin I’ve been called retarded over 300 times in the last 24 hours and told to “study more” They say bitcoin is valuable because it was a first cryptocurrency… But if you look at the facts, it’s actually just one a many failed cryptocurrency thru history Here is a short list: - DigiCash (1989) - e-gold (1996) - Hashcash (1997) - Bit Gold (1998) - B-money (1998) - Beenz (1998) - Flooz (1999) - e-Bullion (2001) - 1mdc (2001) Many of these currencies ultimately failed. What makes you think bitcoin will be any different?

I see all these post about achieving FI or people starting their own business so they have flexibility. I have achieved greater flexibility than imaginable by finding a remote job AND becoming dependable. If you can’t go out for a 2-3 hour lunch every now and then or take a day off to go skiing, you just need to find a new job. It’s about building a mutual beneficial relationship with employer and yourself. (I like both of these guys, and once felt like them, but then i discovered the “everyday is a vacation” lifestyle.)
