Been lucky to have a Vapourer Moth caterpillar eat a lot of leaves off my oak, where it stayed and turned into a female Vapourer Moth and has laid a lot of eggs. Have researched and they can lay up to 100 to 200 eggs. There go the leaves in spring! @WildlifeTrusts @Natures_Voice

And a visit to Filey Briggs produced some great sightings, Purple Sandpiper, Knot, Sanderlings, Ringed Plovers, Whimbrels, Sandwich Terns. @BTO_YorkNE @YWT_North @Natures_Voice

And a visit to Filey Dams Nature Reserve produced 2 Green Sandpipers, 2 Black Tailed Godwits, Little Grebe, a nice number of Grey Lag Geese and a Red Fox @YWT_North @Natures_Voice

@birds_sophie @BBCSpringwatch Your Little Terns video might have made it too, especially when they visited Chesil Beach! No they don't, not in the way they used to. They (6 cubs) would come down and sit in the garden. Just had a fox in the garden now.
