@p8stie I believe this. The competitiveness and intelligence of Asian Americans would make White Americans who grew up around them to develop low self-esteem, self-worth, self-confidence and fragility.
so white people, go hang around black people and leave Asians alone.
Mariè@p8stie
White Americans who grow up around black Americans tend to be more sociable and well adjusted than white Americans who grow up around Asian Americans

@OklahomaPerson @Gingersnapnick @LeaningRight36 @StatisticUrban Obviously I do. I just spoke about the variance...
English

@BadFaithComment @Gingersnapnick @LeaningRight36 @StatisticUrban I did. You clearly just don't understand the mechanics at play.

@BillKristol Pro-infinity immigration is the Democrat position. It also nullifies most of the things you also claim to like.

@BadFaithComment @0hour1 Don't you have more of your kind to gun down in the ghetto?

@Gingersnapnick @OklahomaPerson @LeaningRight36 @StatisticUrban Post war the median district won't be to the right of that imo. 0 Rep seats in CA, NY, IL, WA, OR, CO, MD.
English

@BadFaithComment @OklahomaPerson @LeaningRight36 @StatisticUrban Well pre-redistricting wars I know the median seat was the one in Saginaw at Trump +2. The new median should be well to the right of that when the wars end. I’d be shocked if the median district in this map isn’t left of the final median. But knowing the numbers would be nice.

@BadFaithComment @dostacats @0hour1 Take a trip to Chicago and walk around some of the poorer areas.
You’ll love it white boy. 😂
English

@Gingersnapnick @OklahomaPerson @LeaningRight36 @StatisticUrban I agree. Not rebutting any point I made.
English

@BadFaithComment @OklahomaPerson @LeaningRight36 @StatisticUrban But swing seats aren’t a coin flip. Districts are like a row of dominoes where the two parties are both marching to the middle from either side and they get harder to knock over they progress. The difficulty of the last few in the middle, and who they favor, are what matter.
English

@BadFaithComment @Gingersnapnick @LeaningRight36 @StatisticUrban No it doesn't? What on Earth are you talking about? Democrats will need to win by like 5+ points just to break even under current maps. By contrast, with the example variants (ignoring that they are dated), the popular vote winner would almost always win the House.

@AndrewDahDude @StatisticUrban Blues states don't like it. Red states don't like it. Middle states are agnostic.
English

@StatisticUrban It certainly isn't perfect, but it'd be a massive improvement over how it currently works.
English

@kusha_alagband @__Injaneb96 If the regime stays it certainly won't be due to lack of effort from Trump.

I’m exhausted by this Iran whiplash. We put the Iranian people through hell with maximum pressure and sanctions, watched their currency and living standards collapse, and were told it was the only way to get a “better” deal than Obama’s. We even encouraged them to go out in the streets and risk their lives, telling them help was on the way. Now after all that we’re suddenly “ok” with a 20 year suspension of the nuclear program if Tehran makes a “real” commitment. That is not regime change. That is not zero enrichment forever. That is a tougher, longer version of the same time limited arms control logic we said was unacceptable. As a Trump supporter, I’ll say it clearly this is disgraceful and people deserve honesty about what we paid and what we actually got. @potus @marklevinshow

@blackmanjonson @NDRepublicans How do they force? Just price?
English

@NDRepublicans I actually prefer the european method of forcing undesirables to live in the far peripheral regions of a city instead of letting them turn every central, historic downtown into a shanty town or drug den.
English

There's a very specific reason for why the American arrangement (poor inner cities, wealthy suburbs) is so distinctly the inverse of what you see in Europe. But most people won't like what it is.
Richard Hanania@RichardHanania
Good point here that people think Europeans have high standards of living because their cities are nicer. But American wealth isn't concentrated in their downtowns. Go to the suburbs of Birmingham and Nashville and you'll see neighborhoods that are very rare in Europe.
English

@OklahomaPerson @Gingersnapnick @LeaningRight36 @StatisticUrban The map now (likely) has more Dem lean than a compact national map. A compact map would have far more variance.
English

@BadFaithComment @Gingersnapnick @LeaningRight36 @StatisticUrban Probably not, since it would be dramatically less favorable for them than the Republican-gerrymandered status quo.
