I think geneticists still haven't gotten to the actual cause why some ppl- like my father, by age 44- drink themselves to death. You think he wanted to die? That was his goal?🤦

@Rods_of_God Nah, they put an animal through a machine x-ray thing at sfo. At least that was my exp. when flew a couple cats to Iowa. Prior to allowing me on the plane, they took me to a back room where they put the cats through some machine as I stood there. Was about 20 years ago though.

True Story. I flew a Red Eye flight out of San Francisco last night. Had a family try to sneak a duck on to the airplane. A duck. The gate agent noticed they had a pet carrier but hadn’t paid for a pet to fly. So the agent charged them for the pet fee and allowed them to board at boarding. Once boarding was complete, the gate agent sent out final numbers to the flight deck and came down to the plane to tag the pet carrier with a tag. That’s when he noticed there was a duck in the carrier. The family had hid the duck until they boarded… thought they were good to go… then pulled it out and put it in the carrier. Needless to say the flight was further delayed (we were already late) as we had to unfortunately remove the family. And the duck. Most airlines allow small domestic vaccinated cats and dogs. Not rabbits. Not ducks. Maybe had they just paid for the ‘pet’ to begin with instead of trying to not pay for it… no one would’ve needed to get close enough to notice. They’ve realized that people judge no matter what. They'll judge you if you change. Judge you if you stay the same. So they stop explaining. They stop fitting in. They stop following the "herds". So I've been considering moving somewhere like The Villages in Fla. So I looked into it. I'd rather simply put myself in a casket & call it a day than deal with junior high school & a HOA.

Being in your early 40s is weird, man. People around your age are in every stage of life. You have people who are grandparents. You have people who have newborns. You have people dating 25-year-olds. You have people celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary. Some of them look 60, and some of them look 30. All the bases are covered when you are in your early 40s.

@jkbjournalist One of the reasons why we need to open up and continue to expose (and reverse) the shame of being a victim of incest (the term itself feels shameful). It's a main part of the system of silence, in my opinion. Virginia Giuffre said how hard it was to talk about this.

I was raped by my doctor, an acquaintance, and my BIL. With Dr, I was recovering from a concussion and a near fatal car accident,my marriage falling apart, and my mother dying. The acquaintance,miracle of miracles, was found guilty and sent to prison. BIL,sister didn’t believe me we haven’t spoken since. Rape will shred your life.

@jkbjournalist My own mother never told anyone until she told me, at 88 years old, that she was raped at 15. Unfortunately for her and me, she went to her grave never acknowledging the incest my father perpetrated under her own roof. Ppl don't comprehend how difficult this trauma is on women.
