this is precisely why Hear in LA was created. LA is insanely huge, and insanely misunderstood. the place in red, is (roughly) the neighborhood of San Pedro. within Pedro are the neighborhoods Vista Del Oro, Point Fermin, South Shores, Barton Hill, Holy Trinity, Miraleste Pines, Palisades, Peck Park, and Sunken City. for a variety of reasons there does not seem to be an official city-led map of all the neighborhoods hear in LA, though sometimes you'll see blue signs telling you where you are entering. the place in the blue circle is mostly DTLA, but that circle is so large it also includes dozens of other neighborhoods. most of which are unique, interesting, have their own histories, and diverse residents. Hear in LA is committed to celebrating all of the neighborhoods of LA and trying to make it feel less insane.

I'm not like most people who run for Governor. I'm a single mom of three kids who fills the gas tank and pushes the grocery cart just like almost everybody else in our state. To make life more affordable in California for those of us who aren't billionaires or bankrolled by big industry PACs, it's going to take standing up to Donald Trump, calling out greedy corporations, and stepping on some toes along the way.
