$RSP Equal weight SP-500 is still moving normally as $QQQ $SPY $SMH gets extended. $IWM Russel2k consolidated for 5 years and it finally confirmed it's uptrend. This is an opportunity to get in some small-caps under the umbrella of the hottest market themes! Current Swings⬇️

Premarket options trading on 20 megacap stocks starts tomorrow. Most traders are totally unaware. Cboe Options Exchange (C1) adds two sessions for select single-stock options: - A morning GTH session from 7:30am to 9:25am ET - An afternoon Curb session from 4:00pm to 4:15pm ET. Order acceptance starts 7:15am. About 20 names at launch: $AAPL, $AMD, $AMZN, $AVGO, $BABA, $GOOG, $GOOGL, $HOOD, $INTC, $META, $MSFT, $MU, $NFLX, $NVDA, $ORCL, $PLTR, $TSLA → Eligibility: 150k contracts ADV, $50B+ market cap, 10M+ shares ADV, over the prior six months. Rebalanced semi-annually. Capped at 100 classes. → Limit orders only. Market orders, stops, and stop-limits are rejected in both new sessions. → Trades print with an extended-hours "v" condition, are not last-sale eligible, and do not count toward the daily high/low. Equities went to 24x5 first. Options are catching up. Broker support will be uneven on day one. Source: cboe.com/notices/conten…

With the way semi’s are behaving the last month and the SK HYBIX IPO looming, I say we are likely to see a long consolidation phase that can take many months before another leg higher, if any

100% Triple Levered Short QQQ Papi
I was selling out of $NBIS this morning, expecting for it to have a pullback. Now they’ve ramped it 10% in a straight line and idk if I should buy back in now or wait.

I believe I had the right idea last week as this loss was worth taking the cut and taking my capital elsewhere for the time being. Semis gapped down again today broad weakness across the whole sector, not just one name. Samsung printed record earnings and still sold off. When good news can’t hold a bid, the sector is telling you something. This is the rotation I was talking about. Capital’s been leaving semis for weeks and showing up in software. Still bullish long term, but conviction and positioning are two different things.
True@trueinvestings

Rotated some hefty capital out of the semi sector. The thesis just didn’t confirm and I had to take the loss and move on. Main change was $SOXL other names were small positions. Sector’s being rotated out and it’s about time. Still very bullish long term, but short term isn’t looking great. Still holding my adds on growth names — $HOOD, $HIMS, $RDDT, $INTC $INTC is the one semi I haven’t rotated out of yet it’s showing relative strength vs the rest of the sector imo. If it closes near my average I’ll look to cut it, but holding off until end of day. I added LEAPS since the long-term outlook to me is still great but I sold some massive CC as well.

$ORCL is down over 34% in the last month because the market stopped believing OpenAI can pay its bills. That might end up being one of the more interesting setups in the market. The backlog is $638 billion, the largest in AI, up 363% in a year. Over half is one OpenAI deal worth $300 billion plus, and when reports hit that OpenAI missed growth targets, the market repriced the whole thing from money in the bank to a bet on one unprofitable customer. The risks are real. Heavy debt, negative free cash flow, one giant counterparty. But the endgame everyone forgets is the OpenAI IPO, one of the largest in history. The moment that filing lands and they raise capital on a scale no company ever has, the entire backlog gets de risked overnight. Until then, you can buy the biggest order book in AI at over 34% off. Could be nothing, could be one of the great mispricings. Worth watching either way.

What did you learn from that. This used to be my case in early years, giving up large open profits in the hope of island dreams, that is when I started doing selling in to strength.
ali@ali8787h

@PradeepBonde I didn't want to sell $MXL on Wednesday at around 42% profit from the entry because I saw it closing at almost its 100% DCR. Yesterday it went down but I said" it was a low volume pullback" Today I sold at 15% profit 😅 Was I wrong not taking profits at Wednesday's close?

Like everyone else, Q2 was nothing short of incredible thanks to the historic trend that began in April. June, however, was a much slower month. My best trade, $AXTI on the short side, is still open, but most of the month was spent taking profits on some incredible winners like $MU, $NBIS, $DELL, $DOCN, and $ARM. The extended, choppy nature of the market has made it difficult to get re-engaged with the prior leaders. A day like today is a great reminder of why progressive exposure is such an important part of my process. I’m not in the business of giving back gains after what was arguably the greatest two-month stretch most of us have ever experienced. I’ll put together a full Q2 recap this weekend.
