Just to remind people. The UK post-Brexit joined the CPTPP trade bloc with 11 other countries, of a collective size on par with the EU but actually growing economies not stagnant ones. The terms of the CPTPP deal are far superior to the deals the EU has with those countries.

A reminder that before Labour came into power UK manufacturing was expanding rapidly and in 2023 had overtaken that of France. Increasingly manufacturing was seen as one of the key drivers of economic growth. And then in 2024 Labour were elected. UK manufacturers are now struggling like other businesses with the twin challenges of higher taxation and increased regulation under this Labour government. We cannot even begin to estimate the cost of the damage done to the UK economy by Rachel Reeves and this incompetent Starmer government.

Reform UK is led by millionaires & funded by billionaires Thailand-based billionaire, Christopher Harborne, has donated over £24 million to Farage’s parties since 2019 That's why Reform UK wants to cut taxes for the mega rich This will result in cuts to vital public services
Open Britain@OpenBritainHQ

Crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne gave Reform UK £12m last year. Nearly two thirds of the party’s £18.8m in donations. Farage’s outfit is not a grassroots movement. It is a political project bankrolled by one billionaire.

Here's a chart for anyone still willing to believe that #Brexit has knocked 8% off the UK economy... The lines show what has actually happened to GDP in the UK, France and Germany since the vote to leave. The green unicorn shows where the UK would be if GDP were 8% higher 🤔

Today is the first time since 2016 that I have genuinely believed we will rejoin the EU in my lifetime. Let's make it happen.

The ONS trade figures show there is no need for an EU reset. @Keir_Starmer and @RachelReevesMP why waste £Billions that could be used for the benefit of UK and not the EU ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
David Paton@cricketwyvern

ONS has just updated trade figures & we now have the EU/non-EU breakdown for 2025. In 2025, UK total (goods & services) exports to the EU were: · 18.9%⬆️on 2015 (pre-referendum). · 3.8%⬆️on 2019 (before leaving EU). · 3.2%⬆️on 2024. (all in real terms) …

I’m well aware that Starmer is not liked and is criticised from both the left and the right, which demand exactly opposite things. But I have to say it: he gives me the impression of a good man trying to do the right thing, with all the fallibility that comes with being human.

Speaking at the launch of Labour's local elections campaign, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said the conflict in the Middle East "is not our war, and we are not going to be dragged into it." live updates: trib.al/Q9kOvd9

Nigel Farage claims he’s on the side of working people but in the same breath, wants to strip them of their rights. He’s a hypocrite. mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…

Farridge's Brexit has added at least £230 to the price of a family holiday to Europe. This rises significantly if we take into account things like the loss of EU roaming for anyone wanting to use their phone whilst on holiday. DON'T VOTE REFORM.

In 2025 the UK exported more goods & services to the EU than ever before, and 19% more than it did before the referendum in 2016. The UK *also* exported more to the rest of the world than ever before. Please by all means, tell me again how leaving the EU damaged UK trade.
