Current 2026 realities in Alberta are that labour shortages persist in some trades, but building times have improved slightly in Calgary and Edmonton due to efficiencies. Supply chain issues are milder than peak a few years ago, but busy builders and winter pauses remain common. We can't build our way out of the crisis, we need to stop immigration for a few years
