Also free agents r at least 27 yrs old and forwards usually start falling off ~28 U cant buy a top line. Too old and no 1Cs.

@BakerWheeler1 @PHLY_Flyers @charlieo_conn @Flyperbole True, being on a bad team will affect your +/- But in Ghost's case, for the vast majority of his career, he was the biggest culprit for the team being bad. It's like everyone forgot what a turnover machine he was and largely still is.

@Chrisdyer777 @PHLY_Flyers @charlieo_conn @Flyperbole After 2018 he became more of a 5v5 liability. His knee issues made him less effective on both sides of puck. He wasnt good in 2019. But other yrs he was "fine" at 5v5 and it was just as much, if not moreso about playing big minutes on bad teams 2016/2018 Ghost was truly great

The overall results were incredible which is why he finished top 10 in Norris Sanheim isnt good defensively himself and has way less offense

@acdmma_ Not really. There are already reports of him retiring if he wins. He rarely fights, has health issues, cant travel and is close to retirement. If he was going to fight consistently for many more years yes. But hes not.

The post was also talking about prime Ghost in 2016/2018 that was positive. He obviously wasnt as good after knee injuries and played on a lot of bad teams which affects career +/-

I agree, +/- is a stat that usually requires further context, however, -74 career is simply awful. Those Flyers teams were terrible in large part to Ghost and Hagg being turnover machines.
