Just a friendly reminder. Zeev Buium has 5 points in his last 20 games played while averaging over 19 minutes a night during the same span. Konsta Helenius has been held pointless in 7 of 9 games played in the NHL and doesnt seem to be allowed ot take faceoffs in BUF. Weird how the standards shift.

Jett Luchanko has not jumped up a level since being drafted (even regressing a bit). Likely nothing elite there.

Horse racing has been a part of my life since my early teens and in 1987 I had the privilege of saddling my first winner as a trainer. Nearly 40 years later, I look back on my career with pride and gratitude. The countless memories, friendships, and opportunities that horse racing gave me will always be a part of who I am. None of my success as a trainer would’ve been possible without the people that I work with, both past and present. I’m especially appreciative of the owners that put their trust in me. Thank you doesn’t come close to expressing my gratitude. I’m proud to share that my assistant Kinnon Larose (@RealKinnon) will be taking the reins and become the trainer of record for the barn. He deserves it. I’ve watched him grow into an incredibly talented horseman as he’s worked by my side for the last six years. I will get as much joy watching Kinnon win races as I would if I were the trainer. To the entire racing community, thank you for decades of unforgettable memories and the joy it has brought me, my team, and my family! One example @photofinishgame 🐎 • launched in 2023 • $60M + in all-time race entry fees • $10.2M+ paid out in track earnings • $40M + in race prizes • $20M+ in horse sales • team with AAA gaming background (EA Sports, Zynga) • official partnership with the @KentuckyDerby (the most famous horse race in the US) • still active players today, 3 years later Pretty meaningful numbers for a Solana game. Horse racing and wagering attract a different audience compared to typical games. Still, it’s a strong example of a Web3 game building a real in-game economy. We probably need more experiments like this across different genres. I’ll take a bit more time to dig deeper and test it.
