It’s my son’s birthday today, and obviously he is being spoiled rotten but at the back of my mind there is always the memory of giving birth, and how that fundamentally changed me as a person. It’s so easy for women to dismiss the significance of this event on their own lives (especially as we are normally the ones making the *birthday magic* appear out of thin air) This is why I so strongly reject the term ‘birthing person’. Pregnancy, labour, postpartum emotional and physical health and breastfeeding are so much more than that. So is becoming a mother.

There’s something very wrong in the political system when you email a politician outlining concerns about the impact of gender identity on women’s sports, single sex spaces, and distressed young women who are medicalised and harmed by ‘taking T’, and the politician’s response says thanks for your communication but I disagree with you, Trans people should have equal rights. To be clear - at no point did I suggest trans people should not have equal rights. So - I replied saying absolutely trans people should have equal rights and then reiterated my original points but there’s no reply. It’s like an iron door is closed, like to question or raise concerns is to expose Superman to kryptonite and so this cannot be allowed.

Please explain how your stated wish to “ensure all members of the LGBTQ+ community, are able to participate fully in public life as their authentic selves” is consistent with laws which prevent lesbians from associating without heterosexual men?

@hvsperus @FlorenceJeffr10 @DaveOurPlanet They aren’t single-sex though are they? Not when they let in members of the opposite sex. The changing provisions are also mostly communal in the ladies pond, very few cubicles. Showering is communal.

Hampstead Ponds is an interesting illustrating of the extent of the demands of trans activists. There was already a mixed pond. Trans people could use it in safety & without having to 'out' themselves. But it wasn't enough. Why not?

EHRC guidance on “single-sex spaces” runs to 340 pages. Yet in a typical shared women’s toilet (5–10 people), the chance of a trans woman being present is roughly ~0.5%–1% per visit (very rough estimate). Is this really where the effort should go?

I’m pretty sure that when Henry Nowak’s father said he did not want his son’s death to create more division, he did not mean: “I want left-wing politicians and commentators to weaponise my grief to shut down debate.” Yet that is exactly what is happening. It’s disgusting to see his words misappropriated as a political battering ram, used to attack anyone who asks difficult questions about the way Henry was treated, and about the anti-white ideology explicitly codified in the public sector. Mr Nowak also said that the police treatment of his dying son was “inhumane and degrading”. We should make sure no other British child is treated the way Henry was.

There was a big win for girls in Scotland today. The Court of Session has ruled that West Lothian Council @LoveWestLothian multi-user unisex toilets in a primary school amounted to indirect sex discrimination against female pupils. Common sense was upheld. GIrls deserve privacy, dignity, and single-sex facilities especially in schools. Let me categorically Debunk this utter rot. @sainsburys. I am a poultry Breeder. The hens that lay white eggs (Amberline/White Star) DO NOT have a lower carbon footprint. Yes they eat a bit less and produce roughly the same amount of eggs as the Brown egg layers (Bovan/Lowman/ISA Brown) but they live shorter lives, are prone to dying suddenly when startled, a flighty and nervous and because they live shorter productive lives (12 -18mnths) vs brown 18/24mnths (both commercial farmed), you have to incubate more which is increased (Electricity/gas costs) and their eggs are not the same quality. I breed and keep 20+ different breeds, including: ISA Brown hens and White Stars. All my hens are 100% free range, Not a single barn kept bird, I have ISA browns that are 5yrs old and still laying beautiful Brown eggs, I have not seen a White star live beyond 3yrs and certainly none have laid eggs past 18-24mnths. White stars Lay themselves to death. They are slender birds and because they dont eat a lot, it drains their personal vitality to keep up laying the eggs you want to sell because of the nonsensical lie that they are "More Carbon Neutral" You want to know about eggs, come talk to someone like me, Don't rely on some hairbrained imagination of a buyer who's trying to squeeze the profit margin for a few extra pennies at our expense and to the poor hens detriment.
