I think this might be one of my favorite sets so far. Being able to make token copies of any creatures in your graveyard can do some wild things with Anointed Procession and friends.

This card seems insane to me. Works with a lot of removal that you already want to play, turns into a real creature reasonable quickly. I think it might have a shot all the way back to Modern in the Orzhov Taxes Blink deck.

Game states are either salvageable or not, really bewildering to hand out Lotus Petals to the offending player. I’m sure there’s a written policy that justifies the most recent example but its completely incoherent “on the ground” and I think an overhaul is justified and overdue.

@clever_oi @suchnerve Bingo— they just suck at systematic analysis. Whether it’s this or something like COVID. Anecdotal evidence reigns above statistics. Their direct life experiences are often the primary informer and nothing else matters nearly as much.

In early Magic, the idea was that you are a planeswalker engaging in magical battles with other walkers. You tap into the magic of the land around you to cast powerful spells. I love the little flavor nods to this in things like "Summon X" for creatures, you summon them!
