@EricLDaugh I can tell you without a doubt this is bullshit. The oil and gas sector is loosing money and laying of thousands. The big plays in the us are not even close to making a profit with oil prices this low. The boost in oil is from OPEC flooding the market.

@ChefGruel People don’t like it because there’s a unwarranted negative stigma regarding oil and gas. But this has plagued the industry for a while and especially over the last year. Flooding the oil market with foreign opec oil has killed American producers.

The same problem we’re seeing with flooding the market with foreign beef already happened in seafood. Over 80% of America’s seafood is imported, not because we can’t fish, but because our industry’s been strangled by regulation while other nations dump junk here under shady labels, sketchy labor, and zero oversight. Then we’re told: “We can’t supply Americans with enough U.S. seafood.” That’s nonsense. We have some of the most sustainable fisheries on the planet. We just need the will to fix it - invest in innovation, cut unnecessary labor costs, end union chokeholds, and rebuild a domestic supply chain that actually feeds Americans

We’ve been flooding the market with cheap foreign beef for a decade. Know what that does to our American ranchers? It kills them. So now we hear this about a “herd shortage.” Well no shit, Sherlock!
