@mytweetsmid @undtheinfluence It’s the first 10-15 minutes (after the opening monologue and the music.. just skip until you hear two people talking)
English

@CyrusShares @dom_lucre Holyfuck, it’s like that scene from Babylon, with Toby McGuire
English

@dom_lucre There's a deep subterranean system under the surface that the access points are covered by containers they use cranes to remove
There's a lot more going on than what's visible on the surface

🔥🚨BREAKING NEWS: This disturbing message was spotted on Google Maps in Los Angeles, California, with the words “Help” and “Traffico” written in the debris, surrounded by shipping containers. It has been confirmed that the lot next to this location is a shipping yard which has led users to fear that this is connected to human trafficking or worse.

@mccrabb_will @sjq000 Some of the greatest directors (Spielberg, Scorsese and Bertolucci) have this special relationship with they cameraoperators/dolly grips, theyre the ones in charge of the blocking, the DP just cares about lighting, and exposure.
English

@FilmUpdates Borgli was on BEE’s podcast for a double episode and it sounded like they’re big fans of each other’s work. Very excited about all this
English

@ewaferdynus @rarefilmm I have it as an extra in the DVD of cuoco contadino
English

@doloresquintana @ali_sivi Knowing Luca and Sayombhu im 99% sure that it’s all shot on 35mm film
English

@ali_sivi Sayombhu Mukdeeprom's cinematography and Guadagnino's direction puts you right in the court with the players. It's fucking amazing.
I'm guessing GoPros?
English

@billiemelissa_ Never missed? Maybe since I am love.. but like any good artist he has made some pretty bad movies: Cuoco Contadino and Mundo Civilisado are barely watchable.
English

@zandigg @teacherinRI When people talk about resolution of 35mm film, I think they refer to the resolution of a scan of the camera negative (and how much details it resolves), but common show prints had definitely less resolution, or at least they were softer
English

@teacherinRI @DanielHood4 A normal film print for general distribution had now at near to 4K resolution. We’re talking about a positive film copy that’s at least 3 generations removed from the original camera negatives. It’s a copy of a copy of a copy of a film, everything done optically
English

@DanielHood4 Interesting. Wasn’t it made to be seen in 4k though? The screening of the film in theaters, wasn’t that resolution comparable to 4k? Genuine question because i don’t actually know.
English

@Liam_The_Nerd @neverthetories Someone hasn’t seen Cuoco Contadino
English

@imPatrickT obligatory reference to M:I Ghost Protocol that uses Verdana for its location supers.

English

@redzilla2006 @PrimaryCinema It never says “The Irishman” but is used the original title of the book: “I used to paint houses”
English

@b_donc @deanbayou @PureNewZealand I did not know that. Do you have any reference or book suggestions? The Wikipedia page says that Morioris arrived to Chathman Islands around 1500. But thank you, I didn’t know about this but terribile history
English

@balsam @deanbayou @PureNewZealand The Morioris were there long before the Māori. Yet the Morioris were a passive people which the ancestral Māoris took advantage of and, well, ate them.
English

"Our Māori ancestors were legendary ocean voyagers..." - Lee-Anne Jago. Bask in the sunrise from a double-hulled canoe in the bay of Kaiteretere Beach, and leave with knowledge of the bond between Māori and the natural world.

@fiendformojitos But you have enough bandwidth and storage space to collect 80Gb movies? Respect, and envy
English

@deanbayou @PureNewZealand And these are all very recent discoveries, in the past 20 years.
Here’s a good reference

English

@deanbayou @PureNewZealand No. Not 300 years ago, but 300 years before the first European explorers. The whole chronology of Polynesian colonization is mad! The first humans arrived in Hawaii around 1000 AD. How crazy is that!?
