This is WILD: Alabama Probate Judge Yashiba Blanchard has been SUSPENDED - and the reason why is nuts. She's accused of delaying cases so she could walk her dogs. She's ALSO accused of making racist comments against a white woman. She was hit with a 120-page complaint accusing her of misconduct in multiple cases, such as: 1) She allegedly canceled a hearing, forcing a patient to remain hospitalized for two additional weeks. "This patient will now remain hospitalized for an additional two weeks solely due to the lack of timely access to the hearing process," an email from hospital staff read. "This not only prevents her from being home with her family for Thanksgiving, but it also generates unnecessary hospitalization costs and creates avoidable emotional distress for the patient." 2) She allegedly made a racist comment about white chief clerk Amanda Reid. Here's how THAT went down... A staffer was asked by the judge if they liked Reid, and when the staffer said "yes", Blanchard replied: "Oh, I forgot you all like kissing white a$$.'" 3) In another case, a clerk asked Blanchard to be reassigned to Birmingham, as the commute made it hard for her to see her sister, who was dying of cancer.
